Boozers have one major foe soon after swallowing. They face what I’ll call a “what ifs-only ifs-and-should haves” dilemma. “What if I did not drink yesterday?” Only if I did not swallow, I wouldn't have hit my beloved mama Kelele Nyingi. Should I have restrained myself from Kanywaji, I’d have saved the dosh I burned yesterday to end up lording it over my wife, and many sort of things. Likewise, unwise voters face the same dilemma. When they’re entertained with takrima in the form of Kanywaji and Nyama choma, tend to forget that they’re but dancing with the devil as far as their future’s concerned. This is nothing to be keyed up thanks to dancing with snakes in suits or call them bad seeds if you like. Guys, I must say this cold turkey. Nothing’s for free under the Sun. Don’t goof with those hyper spiced lies in the name of promises they feed you. Those nyama choma and kanywaji you swallow has a price tag on them. Those ‘generously’ offering those stuff are not fools or generous as you my goof. Why am I saying all this? Simple, 2015 is not far from to date. I therefore, as a philosopher need to propound something that’ll either save boozers or act as a reminder in the future. You don’t need to be a quantum physicist or Sigmund Freud to know this. We've the power and will to choose and make our destinies shall we will and decide. This is the only wisdom nugget I offer today.
Thus, I’d like, today, to hypothesize that we badly need the sense and science of self-awareness to deal a blow to selfishness, aloofness, gullibility and greed we've always served unconsciously and lopsidedly consciously altogether. My aim’s to replace selfishness with selflessness, lies with Truth, usanii with policy and whatnot. Seriously, we need to treat ourselves and be treated like, to loan from Carl Rogers, fully-functioning persons with decency and sense of ourselves and others instead of being taken for a ride by quacks and con men and con women. Do we need to be lobotomized or cingulotomized to realize this really? Thanks to my literature class many years ago on self-awareness and personality, I’m able to argue comfortably that what we think to be normal and right are otherwise not.
It’s difficult to tease apart what people want and what they don’t want from us even though we know what they want and what they don’t want from us.
Our ‘beloved’ rulers are hemmed amidst bodyguard for the fear of us. Isn't this narcissism or the obsession love of oneself? Yet they shamelessly tell us they love us! Alas! Is this love really or levo love? Interestingly, they say they’re in ulaji for us however their needs, not our needs, take precedence over ours and yet we call this justice and see it as something normal.
Overall, this deceit has been going on unabated so as to be entrenched in our constitutions. Are we to spend the rest of our in this dirty game really? Every electoral season some carbuncular politicians come and dupe us and go. Yet we don’t seem to change! Phew! This breaks my heart really. However, I’m ready to go whole hog to see to it that this culture of political malingering and impunity’s slayed. Have you asked yourself why say president is above the law and pays no tax in some countries? Take, for instance, thievery by the high and mighty. It goes without punishment while heavy punishment is handed down to petite larcenists. This is how it is. I’m not trying to awfulize or catastophize it. It is real out there. Remember Richmond, EPA and radar scandals? Where are the culprits who are known to everybody even birds? Aren't they still stealing in public offices? What do happen to pickpockets in our streets in the hand of mob justice? They’re set on fire alive and nobody’s hyper alerted by this brutality! Yet life goes on while innocent earthlings keep on perishing. Instead of asking why do they do all things they do despite the danger, we easily and blindly condemn them. To me the big thieves in power are more a danger than pickpockets so to speak. Isn't this ‘better than thou’ that’s gotten under the skin so as to bless illegality in the name of preserving our ulaji even if it means to eat others? Sadly, when such big thieves come to you asking for vote you don’t tell them to go to hell! Why and whose fault this is at all?
Aren't we sucked by that seven-letter word “a”? I don’t mean …hole guys. Who wants to annoy you and evidence your cortisol and testosterone swell? I’m a humble bin-Adam created to amuse others however sometimes I may somewhat discompose others especially those whose ulaji I put in danger. Again, shall all of us treat one another with dignity and justice, we shall all be happy in the bushel of happiness and justice. Buying and vending one another isn't the way to go. Why live on handouts obtained by the way of robbing you? Think more if not twice.
For bookworms, please refer to the fourth commandment of animals in the farm in George Orwell (p. 46). It says, “No animal shall sleep in a bed with sheets,” again, what is wrong with human animals to share beds with sheets and use this sharing as a tool for enjoying their partner’s power?
