Ajali za Barabani: Kijiwe Chaishukia Sirikali

         Baada ya mheshimiwa Bwege kupoteza ndugu zake kwenye ajali iliyotokea huko Rufiji hivi karibuni, Kijiwe kimekaa kama kamati kutoa shinikizo kwa lisirikali likomeshe jinai hii ya kizembe na ya kujitakia kama jamii.
          Mheshimiwa Bwege baada ya kupokea salamu na michango ya rambirambi toka kwa wanakijiwe analianzisha, “Jamani, hali ya ajali za kujitakia za barabarani zitokanazo na mfumo wa kishenzi na wa kifisadi zitatumaliza tusipochukua hatua. Ni juzi tu nimepoteza ndugu zangu watano kwenye ajali ya barabarani. Mwaka jana mke wangu alipoteza ndugu watatu kwenye ushenzi huu huu. Jamani tufanyeje ili tunusurike?”
          Mbwamwitu anaamua kujibu haraka, “Tumuulize Pombe Makufuri anayejinadi kwa kuchapa kazi wakati ni wale wale. Hapa waziri hawezi kunusurika. Maana anajua chanzo cha ajali za mara kwa mara lakini hataki kuchukua hatua.”
          Sofia Lion aka Kanungaembe anadakia, “Acheni uvuvi wa kufikiri jamani. Sasa waziri anahusikaje na ajali kama siyo uzushi na kukosa la kusema ukiachia mbali kutaka kuwabebesha wengine lawama?”
          Msomi Mkata Tamaa aliyekuwa akisoma gazeti lililokuwa likizungumzia ajali ya kutisha ya mabasi, analiweka pembeni na kutia guu, “Dada yangu Sofi inapaswa uelewe kuwa waziri ndiye anahusika na sera na sheria za barabarani. Asemayo Mbwamwitu ni kweli. Maana waziri anajua kuwa chanzo cha ajali za barabarani hapa kayani ni barabara zenyewe. Nakumbuka, alishaambiwa kuwa barabara nyingi zimepungjwa ukubwa ili mafisadi wapata chao. Je nani unataka ashughulikie kadhia hii kama si waziri anayehusika na ujenzi wa barabara?”
Mijjinga aliyekuwa akisoma gazeti baada ya Msomi kuliweka mezani, analiweka pembeni na kubusu mic, “Sofi una matatizo ajuaye ni Mungu. Yaani unashindwa kuona vitu rahisi kama hivi au unajifanya tu?”
Kabla ya kuendelea Mbwamwitu anadakia, “Mpe vipande vyake. Amezidi kujifanya na kujitia tia wakati hajui kitu. Anajifanya msemaji na mtetezi wa lisirikali chovu na ovu linalonuka utadhani kuna kitu anapewa au kulipwa.”
Mijjinga anaendelea, “ Hapa hakuna cha kutwisha watu lawama. Wanazistahili. Hata hivyo, wana bahati. Maana, kaya hii isingekuwa ya wachovu na woga waziri kama huyu angepigwa chini haraka sana ili wenye uwezo wachukue nafasi yake na kufanya kazi vilivyo.”
Mpemba anaramba mic, “Yakhe msemayo ya kweli ati. Hivi, hawa waniotaka tusilaumu sirikali wataka tunlaumu nani?” Anamgeukia Sofia na kusema, “Dadangu sasa naanza amini kuna kitu kimekuingilia wallahi. Maana sikutegemea kama ungeweza tetea waovu tena wakati huu tunipoomboleza vifo vya ndugu zake ndugu yetu Mheshimiwa Bweeege. Hivi hawa walopoteza maisha wangekuwa nduguzo ungewezayasema haya uniyosema?”
“Mpe vipande vyake. Hebu yakhe mpe dozi huenda atatosheka aache mapenzi ya kibubusa.” Anachomekea Mipawa.
Mgosi Machungi anakula mic, “Tinamishangaa dada Sofi. Japo shiwezi kusema kuwa ameiingiwa na kitu fulani, sasa naanza kuamini. Si bue. Naona timuuize da Sofi yeye anadhani suuhu ya tatizo la ajai ni nini?” anamgeukia Sofi ambaye anaonekana kuudhika wazi.
Kanji anaamua kumuokoa mshikaji wake Sofi. Anakwanyua mic, “Dugu zangu samehe yeye hapana jua ile natetea.” Anamgeukia Sofia na kusema, “Dada yangu nini naingilia veve dugu yangu? Mbona nyuma haikuwa hivyo dada yangu Sofi? Nini napewa tamu hivyo na sirkali mpaka natetea kila kitu?”
Kijiwe hakina mbavu jinsi Kanji anavyoongea maneno yanayotafsiriwa tofauti na alichokusudia.
Kapende aliyekuwa akitikisa kichwa anaamua kutia buti, “Ndugu zangu, msimshangae Sofi. Wapo wengi kama yeye wenye mapenzi ya kibubusa kiasi cha kushabikia maafa ya wenzao. Kama alivyouliza Ami, hivi hawa wahanga wangekuwa nduguzo ungeyasema haya unayosema au ni kwa vile hawakuhusu? Kama hawakuhusu sisi wanatuhusu na isitoshe leo hawa kesho hujui atakuwa nani hasa ikizingatiwa kuwa sisi wachovu hatusafiri kwa madege kama wao wanaosimamia maafa yetu.”
Msomi anarejea, “Nadhani tuachane na Sofi na kumtumia salamu waziri mhusika kuwa arekebishe uoza wa kupunguza upana wa barabara na kuzijenga chini ya kiwango. Nadhani kaya yetu ndiyo yenye barabara finyu kama vijia vya panya duniani kutokana na kutawaliwa na walaji, walafi, mafisi na mafisadi. Mbona hatusikii hizi ajali kaya jirani kama si ukweli?”
    "Yakhe hawa watu wajue sana hili tatizo. Maana wakisafiri wao hufunga barabara ili wasikutane na vichaa wendao kasi wakawanyotoa roho," Anachomekea Mpemba.
Mijjinga anakatua mic, “Nadhani tatizo jingine ni wenye mikangafu kutoihudumia ukiachia mbali kuwafanyisha kazi madereva kwa muda mrefu bila mapumziko. “
“Kaka umesahau wazee wa mabao yaani wale nyangenyange wa barabarani. Wanawatoa watu upepo na kuacha wapakie abiria wengi watakavyo badala ya kuangalia uwezo wa magari.” Anachomekea Mipawa.
Mgosi anarejea, “Usemayo ni kwei tupu. Juzi nikitoka Ushoto niishuhudia taafiki akipokea bahasha toka kwa konda wa basi aiyekuwa amepakia abiia kupita kiasi. Kwei hawa nao ni chanzo cha ajai.”
Kapende anampoka Mgosi mic na kuongeza, “Chanzo kingine ni mwendo kasi. Tatizo na suka wetu wengi wanadhani kukimbiza magari ndiyo ufundi. Juzi nilishuhudia abiria wakimshangilia muuaji aliyekuwa akikimbiza gari utadhani alitaka lipae. Hawa nao ni wa kutupiwa jicho.”

Kijiwe kikiwa kinanoga si vipanya (daladala) viwili vikavaana katika kuwahi kugombea abiria. Ilibidi tuwahi kuokoa majeruhi hasa baada ya kuona gari likianza kutema moshi. “Ama kweli ajali zitamaliza wengi tusipowajibisha wakubwa wanaohujumu miundo mbinu.” Aljisemea Mzee Maneno.

Kama mali za Gwajima ni halali, anahofu nini?

          Askofu wa kujipachika Josephat Gwajima amevutia vyombo vya habari kwa siku za karibuni. Ni baada ya kwanza, kushutumiwa kumchukua mwimbaji wa nyimbo za injili Flora Mbasha ambaye mumewe wa zamani Emanuel Mbasha anamtuhumu Gwajima kumwiba mkewe. Kabla ya hili kupoa lilizuka jingine la Gwajima kumrushia matusi Askofu mkuu wa Jimbo la Dar es Salaam Polycarp Pengo kiasi cha kuitwa polisi kutoa maelezo. Kana kwamba hii haitoshi, Gwajima alipofika polisi akitegemea kutoa maelezo juu ya kashfa na matusi, alijikuta akitakiwa kueleza alivyochuma utajiri wake wenye kutia shaka na wa haraka.
Tokana na na kutakiwa kueleza utajiri wake alivyoupata, Gwajima anaona kama anaonewa wivu tu akidai yeye ni “maskini” ingawa si maskini wa kawaida. Alikaririwa hivi karibuni akisema, “Wanaodai mimi ni tajiri wana wivu tu na wananionea, mimi si tajiri, bali ni masikini kama walivyo masikini wengine. Natarajia kutajirika hapo baadaye waumini wangu wakiwa matajiri, siwezi kutajirika kama waumini wangu bado ni masikini, nitatajirika pamoja nao.”
Je ni kweli kuwa Gwajima si tajiri kwa kiwango chochote hata kwa nchi tajiri duniani kama Marekani? Jibu linapatikana tokana na utajiri anaosema ni umaskini alio nao Gwajima. Alikaririwa akisema, “Wanaodai mimi ni tajiri wana wivu tu na wananionea, mimi si tajiri, bali ni masikini kama walivyo masikini wengine. Natarajia kutajirika hapo baadaye waumini wangu wakiwa matajiri, siwezi kutajirika kama waumini wangu bado ni masikini, nitatajirika pamoja nao.”
Je mtu mwenye kuweza kuwanunulia wenzake magari yapatayo 40 kweli ni maskini huyu? Je kama ameweza kuwanunulia wenzake magari yeye amejibakizia utajiri kiasi gani na ameupata vipi na kwa muda gani? Jibu utalipata tokana na utajiri wa Gwajima ambao umetajwa kuwa ni majumba, magari ya starehe na juu ya yote helkopta. Kwa Tanzania na afrika, kwa mtu mwenye kumilki helkopta si tajiri tu bali tajiri wa kutisha. Kuwa tajiri si dhambi kama mhusika amepata utajiri wake kihalali. Hata hivyo, inatia shaka tokana na kazi anayofanya Gwajima ambayo kimsingi, si ya kuzalisha bali kutoa huduma. Hata yule anayesema kumhubiri, Yesu Kristo hakuwa tajiri na aliuchukia utajiri. Methali 28:20 imeweka wazi kukwa “Mtu mwaminifu atapata baraka tele, lakini mwenye pupa ya kuwa tajiri hataepa adhabu.” Je utajiri wa Gwajima ameupata baada ya muda gani na kwa kufanya nini? Na kwanini anapoulizwa siri ya utajiri wake anang’aka kama hakuna namna? Ni muhimu kumshauri Gwajima kuwa asipoteze muda kutunishiana misuli na serikali hadi kumpa shinikizo rais kuwazuia polisi kufanya kazi yao. Mtu wa namna hii anaonekana kutojua afanyacho hasa ikizingatiwa kuwa, japo serikali imemnyazia kwa muda mrefu, si kwamba haijui mchezo wake.
Kwa mtu ambaye hana wasi wasi na utajiri wake na jinsi ulivyopatikana, alipoitwa na polisi alipaswa kutoa maelezo na vielelezo na kuruhusiwa kwenda nyumbani badala ya kusimama mimbarini na kuanza kutishia na kulaumu watu wanaotekeleza wajibu wao. Tanzania haiwezi kuendelea kuwa shamba la bibi ambapo wachumia tumbo wachache wanawaibia watu wetu kwa kuwadanganya na miujizi na ujinga mwingine. Serikali inapaswa kuwachukulia wote wanaotia shaka hasa wachungaji na maaskofu wa kujipachika vyeo ili kuwaibia wajinga na maskini kama ilivyoanza kuzoeleka. Hatuwezi kuendelea na jinai kama hii. Huu nao ni ufisadi wa kutumia dini kuwaibia wajinga na maskini waliokata tamaa nchini. Serikali inapaswa kuingilia kati kupambana na wachungaji wachunaji ambao hawana tofauti na matapeli na waganga wa kienyeji wanaopotosha na kuiibia jamii. Hakuna miujiza katika kufanikiwa au kutatua matatizo yoyote yawayo. Ni wajinga waliokata tamaa wanaoweza kuendelea kugeuzwa mabunga kwa kushawishika kutoa kidogo walicho nacho kuwapa matapeli wanaochezea akili zao. Kazi ya serikali ni kuhakikisha hakuna mtu anayemnyonya mwenzie hata kama mnyonywaji ameihiari tokana na ujinga na kukata tamaa kwake.
Kuna haja ya kuwachunguza hawa viongozi wa kiroho wanaojipachika vyeo vikubwa kama askofu, mitume na wachungaji wakati hawana sifa zaidi ya kusaka fedha. Mwishoni mwa mwaka jana nchini Kenya aligundulika tapeli wa namna hii aliyejipa uchungaji, uaskofu, utume na udaktari aitwaye Victor Kanyari ambaye alikuwa akitumia radio na runinga kulaghai watu kuwa anatenda miujiza wakati waliokuwa wakitoa ushuhuda walikuwa matapeli wenzake wa kupanga. Hali imekithiri nchini Nigeria na hata Zimbabwe ambapo matapeli wenye majoho wameweza kuwaibia waumini wao huku wakikwepa kulipa kodi na kutokea kuwa matajiri wa kutisha ndani ya muda mfupi. Hii ni aina mpya ya wizi inayoshika kasi barani Afrika ambapo watu wengi licha ya kuwa wajinga, wamekata tamaa kiasi cha kupwakia kila uongo kwa imani kuwa wanaweza kuboresha maisha yao.
Tumalizie kwa kuzitaka mamlaka kumbana Gwajima aeleze alivyopata utajiri wake kwa haraka hivi. Si yeye tu bali wote wenye utajiri wa kutia shaka ilmradi wasifanye hivyo kumkomesha kwa sababu za kisiasa. Akishindwa kufanya hivyo, ataifishwe na kuchukuliwa hatua za kisheria ili liwe somo kwa wengine wanaotumia ujinga na umaskini wa watu wetu kujitajirisha kinyume cha sheria.

Xenophobia: The Oppressed Become Oppressors

Recently, Media reported barbaric and xenophobic attacks on foreigners in South Africa. Such attacks resulted from a wrong perception that foreigners–who in this case are Africans–caused the miseries especially poverty and unemployment they are facing. Shops and businesses owned by foreign Africans have been facing a spate of attacks whereby the attackers ransack them thinking that such a criminal act would solve their problems.
Again, such attacks have one lesson: South Africans seem to have learned nothing from their history of being persecuted, exploited and discriminated against by Boers. The victims of yesterday are now becoming the perpetrators of the same crime they were fighting against yesterday. South Africans are reiterating exactly the same by attacking foreigners, especially, Africans. Before South African xenophobic eyes, foreigners are Africans from just neighbouring countries but not others such as Indians, Chinese or even Caucasians coming from afar! If anything, xenophobic attacks seem to have all hallmarks of racism.
Xenophobia is stinking racism that embarrasses not only South Africa but also Africa. The difference from racism we’re used to, is that the current one is perpetrated by Africans against themselves. Ironically, Africans are discriminating against Africans and spare non-Africans in South Africa. If the issue forcing South Africans to attack foreigners is an economic one, they need to know and confront the real problems by dealing with those who own their economy especially land that’s grabbed from their ancestors.
Xenophobic attacks in South Africa, if they work, are at the detriment of the same South Africans perpetrating them. Such attacks will frighten other Africans, especially, small scale traders who operate shops that employ many poor South Africans apart from adding to the government revenues. For, instead of confronting the real problem, they’re missing the opportunity to address their real problems by creating pretext and scapegoatism.  Those Africans South Africans are attacking are just innocent and poor people escaping miseries back home. Through their resilience and creativity, they are able to open small business so that they can survive. Their presence can’t be an impediment to their poor colleagues –Africans in South Africans. 
Everybody knows that the South African economy is in the hands of a few whites who used to be favoured by the former criminal apartheid rule before being dismantled in May 1994. Unemployment among blacks is high just like in any other African countries due to being ruled by corrupt and thuggish rulers. The freedom that new South Africa got in 1994 seems to be more political than economic. The big chunk of the majority blacks is still suffering from unemployment, ignorance, diseases and poverty while the minority whites seem to do better comparably.
The solution to poverty and unemployment does not lie in attacking foreigners struggling to make ends meet. Instead, South Africans need to take on their government and urge it to create jobs and educate the people to truly address their problems in right ways instead of attacking others wantonly. Singling Africans out is not only racism but also a misguided move that will not solve the problems but exacerbate them.
Shall such xenophobic attacks go on without South African authorities reigning in to stop them; African countries – whose citizens are targeted – should cut ties with South Africa as a means of forcing the authorities to take decisive actions against such criminality. Jonathan Crush in his article, The dark side of democracy: migration, xenophobia and human rights in South Africa 2001, argues that “South Africa prides itself in having one of the most progressive constitutions in the world. A Bill of Rights guarantees a host of political, cultural and socio-economic rights “to all who are resident in the country.” This means security is a human right for every person residing in South Africa.
This is why we urge African countries whose citizens are attacked and discriminated against to take on the authorities in South Africa reminding them to fulfill their obligations under their own constitution. Why have South Africans forgotten so easily this way? It is only yesterday almost all African countries were sacrificing their economies to support them to achieve independence. Now they’re independent yet they act like Boers who used to discriminate against them. Even the nationality they are fighting for and taking pride in was created by the colonizers in Berlin in 1884 during the scramble for and partition of Africa whereby current African states were curved out at that conference.
According to African sociologist Mike Neocosmos (2008), the recent violence was a manifestation not so much of the xenophobic attitudes of the poor at the bottom of society as of a xenophobic discourse that starts at the top, at the highest levels of the ANC-led state, and is prevalent among the elites – the rising black elite as well as the established white elite – whose interests are the state’s main concern.

If anything, this is where the nexus of xenophobic attack is whereby African elites act like neo-nazis, malanites and Kuyperians. South African should stop whitewashing and witch hunting that have resulted into ignoring xenophobic attacks that have culminated in death and loss of property for innocent people whose sin is being black Africans in a black African country known as South Africa. It shocks and pains beyond comparison to find that some South Africans are dueting with the fathers of apartheid. There must be a rim between black South Africans attacking other blacks and criminals and architects of apartheid such as Abraham Kuyper, Nico Diederichs, Piet Meyer, Geoff Cronje, H.F.Verwoerd and Dr. Daniel François Malan (The Prime Minister who officiated apartheid in 1948).The country of Mandela can’t keep on committing such sacrilege.

Mwalimu Mhango,Bwana Mola azidi kukulinda kwani kalmu yako imekua ni silaha ya kuwatetetea wanyonge daima,lakini tatizo kubwa ni ni kuingiliana kwa maradhi sugu katika jamii ya ulimwengu watu hususa Sub Sahara Afrika ambapo kila aina ya maradhi ya kumfanya mwanadamu adumae kiakili yanazidi kujizatiti nakusudia hapa UMASIKINI na UJINGA na kama ujuavyo umasikini na ujinga ndio mama wa mabalaa yote ya maradhi ya kijamii katika jamii yoyote ile ile duniani na wakati mwingine uwezi kuamini kwa vile maradhi haya yamejikita basi hata wale wenye elimu ya aina moja au nyingine utakutwa wamedhurika na maradhi hayo ebu angalia hawa waumini ambao wanaowatajirisha hawa mbwa mwitu ambao wamevaa ngozi ya kondoo,utawakuta ni wenye elimu zao na vyeo vyao katika serikali na sekta binafsi ambao wanakuja na mavazi ya fahari,magari makubwa makubwa ya fahari na hata michango yao ni mikubwa mikubwa wakiamini kwamba watakuwa na sehemu kubwa katika maisha ya mbinguni.
Kama tulikoloniwa kwa sababu ya ujinga wetu,umasikini wetu na ukarimu wetu leo hii tnakoloniwa na hawa matapeli wanaodai wana miujiza ya kuwafanyia waumini wao ambao wengi wao ni masikini kuliko maelezo.
Mwalimu Mhango tuna safari ndefu sana ya kuweza kupambana na maradhi haya ya kijamii na watu wa aina hii ambao wametoa makucha yao na bila ya huruma kuwaparura wafuasi wao bila ya kujali muda wa kudumu tu wao wanafaidika na wanazidi kufaidika.
NI kweli kabisa kama ulivyoandika kwamba..."Hakuna miujiza katika kufanikiwa au kutatua matatizo yoyote yawayo"maelezo yako haya ni ya kielimu(sayansi) lakini katika jamii ambayo imetawaliwa na ujinga,umasikini na uchawi maelezo haya yanakosa maana kabisa.kwa nini wajanja hawa wategemee katika mahubiri yao au dini yao miiujiza?kwa nini wasiende makaburini kuwafufua wafu arudi duniani na kwenda makanisani mwao ili kuwahakikishia waumini kwamba haya wanayohubiri hawa matapeli ni ukweli mtupu?Bwana Yesu alikuwa anafufua wafu.Kwa nini wasiende katika hospitali za ukoma wakawaponya watagonjwa kama alivyokuwa akifanya Bwana Yesu?kwa nini wasiende shule za vipofu viziwi na mabubu wakawafanye miujiza huko kama alivyokuwa akifanya Bwana yesu?Bwana Yesu alikuwa asubiri kuifanya miujiza yake katika kanisa japo yeye alikua akihubiri na kusali katika nyumba ya kiibada ya kiyahudi (synagogue)Bwana Yesu popote pale ilpohitajika au kuhitajika kufanya miujiza yeye aliwajibika tu bila ya lkusita,lakini hawa matapeli na utapeli wao upo wazi wanafanya miujiza yao makanisani mwao kwa kutumia uchawi,kupanga watu ambao wanakula na kanisa na viini macho.
Mwalimu Mhango sisi bado tupo katika stage ya jamii ya ki primitive na mihimili muhimu ya jamii hiyo ni uchawi,wachawi makuhani,na watu wa dini na kwa bahati mbaya hali hiyo bado inaendelea na itaendelea afrika mpaka dunia kwisha.
Msemo wa Karl Marx hapa una uzito wake "Religion is the opium of the masses."
Mwalimu Mhango ni serikali gani hiyo ambayo unayoikusudia kuwachukulia hatua watu wapuuzi kama hawa?ikiwa serikali inashindwa au inakataa kwa makusudi kuwachukulia hatua viongozi ambao wamebobea katika machafu ya ufisadi unaonuka kaya nzima leo itawachukulia hatua matapeli wa kiroho?Unajua nini nachoongea hapa Mwalimu Mhango.

Mlevi kuanzisha kanisa ili anunue Boieng

          Baada ya kugundua kuwa jina la bwana God linalipa, basi mzee mzima nasukuti kuanzisha kanisa la Upendo, Furaha, Uzima Fanaka na Utajirisho, Kupitia Ombi (UFUFUKO). Katika kuhakikisha napata njuluku toka kwa walevi na wachovu waliokata tamaa kiasi cha kuamini kila anayewaingiza mkenge kwa kisingizio cha kutatua matatizo yao, nitahubiri utajirisho wa chap chap bila kulazimika kuingia kwenye jinai kama EPA, Richmonduli, escrow an MWAPORC inayonukia kule kwa akina waja leo waondoka leo Mwambani.
Ili kupata njuluku ya kutosha, nitawalenga akina mama ambao bila shaka ni wengi kayani. Nitahubiri jinsi ya kuimarisha ndoa, kupata mtoto na kupendwa na waume zao ili wawachune vizuri. Si utani. Kama huzai au umechelewa kuzaa we njoo kwangu utapata mapacha idadi unayotaka hata kama ni kuzaa kumi kwa mpigo. Hakuna lisilowezekana kwangu.
Kama haitoshi, nitauza CDs zangu zenye mahubiri yangu ya urongo na ukweli bila kusahau maji upako, vitambaa vya baraka na kanda zangu za video nikihubiri. Nitawaingiza mkenge watakaopwakia huduma sorry hujuma yangu kuwa ninafanya miujiza ambayo haijawahi kufanywa na yeyote.
Naona yule anatikisa kichwa akidhani hii ni mipango ya bangi asijue wapo wengi ambao wameishaula kirahisi kama marais kwa kujificha nyuma ya neno la bwana. Nani mara hii amesahau kuwa kidhabu mmoja kule Nigeria aitwaye TB Joshi sasa ni bilionea wa kutupwa tokana na kuwaingia mkenge wajingawanjinga wasiojiamini?          Don’t think I’m writing this because of kanywaji and ganja. Nay, I've strong and healthy reasons to embark on becoming a big criminal aka a big thug, you may call it. I reached this stance after discovering that in our hunk is crime friendly. Steal ducks and chickens, you’ll end up rotting behind bars. Ironically, if you steal billions, you become mhishimiwa in your own light. Ask nshomiles Rugemalayers, Anna Kajuamlo, Sauce pie Muongo, and Andy Chenge, Rost Tamu l’Aziz of Kagoda, Jake Kiq’ette, A Liar Maswiswi and singanga Seti. They made a killing out of the blue; and they’re now honourable dining and enjoying their loots with kings as boozers gasp with throes. Mince no words. Mmeigeuza kaya ya wahalifu pointlessly!
That I’m smart, I’m pondering about becoming a big thug so that I can rob big bucks and get away with it in the hunk of criminals. What’d I fear if everything is ruksa? If it were under mzee Mchonga, I’d not think of becoming a big thug. How’d I while the Mchonga used to employ spies to check on how many beers swallowers were able to buy? Spies used to spend much time in the watering holes counting corks of the beer one’d swallowed. Thereafter, they’d squeeze the guy to know how he made his dosh. Failure to substantiate, firstly, his loot’s taken –and then –he’d rot in the cage for sabotaging the hunk. Currently, one can steal, rob, and plunder as wishes without getting in troubles. Currently, criminal do kill people with albinism to meet the requirements of the conmen who order them to do so promising them to hit the jackpot. Those foolish and illiterate conmen are duping you. Stop it. Mtamaliza mazeruzeru bure and you won’t become rich. Work diligently, wisely and hard or rob the govt. Why are you turning our hunk into the den of adulterous and criminals wantonly?
I know. Doubting Thomases will doubt my project thinking it is the result of hangover and ganja. I tell them point blank to go and see those folks mentioned above. Robbing the hunk does pay. All paupers you evidenced suffering before their god came to ulaji are now stinking billionaires thanks to this crime of robbing the hoi polloi of this God-forsaken hunk aka Danganyika aka Bongolalaland aka Bongo-Bongo.
Those doubting that criminality does not pay in this criminal hunk should go and ask the bigwigs who forged their academic credentials. Some are shamelessly and undeservedly referred to as doctors while they’re but quacks and forgers. Makorongo Muhanga, Marry Nyagu, Bill Luku-vii, Emmy Nchimvi, Diodolorous Kamala, Addymu Malima and Saaaada Mkuyati know this too well.  The other day I read the CVs of Mkuyati and Malima how they got their Master’s degree after completing form four and ended up drinking like a fish to calm my anger. You know. We, morani feed on kiroriti. So, when our angers swell, we just get kanywaji to avoid taking jambia and slash somebody’s head in broad daylight.
 Remember Ukafiri Dar si Salama aka UdA. Do you know that some criminals took it despite the parliament opposition to this theft? Nobody’s ever pooped in the bucket at Ukonga or Segerea. Instead, criminals behind this holdup are minting and printing dosh using the same UdA.  Little bird confided me that there’s a bigwig or his son behind UdA graft.  See? Doesn't criminality pay in our hunk? Go to local govts, airports, border points, harbours, immigration, TrA, Bunch of Thieves (BoT) littered with vigogo’s children and everywhere dosh’s made quickly and see how the paupers of yesterday are the billionaires of today wantonly. Those unsatisfied can go ask the putas selling fake drugs such as Rama Madabidabi and others what happened to them after their dirty linens were put on the agora. Nothing, they’re still importing even bigger quantities of the poisonous and sell it to boozers they kill like people with albinism. Thanks to their greed and heartlessness.
If you still can’t believe, go to the dungeons and interview those behind bars. Most of them are chicken thieves, petty offenders and those jailed on fabricated cases which cops know how to do too well.
Guess what. Did you just recently hear that some connected criminals working in the Tanzia Harbour Authorities bought old wagons they called new and advanced? Don’t ask me what befell them for committing such sacrilege. I read somewhere that the minister responsible suspended them. Suspend them! Why not slit their necks so that other can get the message? Again, who is to reprimand who while they all are in the frenzy of eating almost in every office? Do you remember the MPigs sorry MPs implicated in the scam of asking for kickbacks from local govt officials so that they can pass their audit reports? One of them was ironically appointed a mini minister before the hand of God chipped in. Grrrr, this is but a criminal state!

Kufungwa mtoto wa rais somo kwa marais watoto

Tatu, Afrika inahjumiwa na waafrika wenyewe hasa wanaotumia madaraka vibaya pamoja na wake, watoto, marafiki na waramba viatu wao.
Nne, wakati mwingine usomi wa mtu hauondoi ujinga wake. Rais wa zamani Wade ni profesa tena wa sheria lakini aliyeivuja na kuivunja sheria vibaya. Rejea maprofesa wetu hapa nchini walioboronga hadi wengine kuondolewa kwa kashfa za upokeaji vijisenti na kusimamia wizi wa fedha za umma.
Karim, kama Seif al Islam Gaddafi, alikuwa akiandaliwa kumrithi baba yake. Alipewa uwaziri kwenye serikali ya baba yake.  Alifika pale alipofika si kwa sababu ya sifa nyingine zaidi ya kuwa mtoto wa rais. Je Afrika inao akina Karim wangapi ambao hawajahukumiwa lau kupata stahiki ya jinai walizotenda? Je ni wangapi wamejifunza tokana na anguko hili takatifu?
Baada ya kuondoka wakoloni weupe wakawaachia mamlaka wakoloni weusi, kuwa rais Afrika maana yake ni kwamba ukoo wote unakuwa marais kwa namna wawezayo. Wake za viongozi japo si wote wanaunda kampuni almaaruf NGO na kujipatia utajiri wa ghafla kwa kutumia mgongo wa ikulu. Kulipana fadhila na udugu, kujuana na kulindana vinachukua nafasi kiasi cha kushindwa kutofauti kati yao na genge la wezi. Wengi wa marais wameruhusu wake au watoto au marafiki zao kuwa karibu kila ufisadi unaotendeka kwenye mataifa yao. Mtoto wa rais Congo Denis-Christel Sassou Ngweso anasifika kujihusisha na karibu kila kashfa inayohusisha mabilioni ya dola nchini humo. Mtoto wa rais wa Afrika Kusini, Duduzane Zuma anasifika kwa kushirikiana na familia ya kihindi ya akina Gupta kujipatia utajiri wa kutisha. Ilifikia mahali hata akaruhusu ndege binafsi ya wahindi hawa iliyobeba maharusi kutua kwenye kituo cha kijeshi kinyume cha sheria na hakuna kilichofanyika. Binti wa Zuma, Thuthukile (25) alipewa kazi ya ukuu wa watumishi kwenye Wizara ya Posta na Mawasiliano nafasi ambayo hajawahi kupata mtu kwenye umri huu bila uzoefu wala elimu ya kutosha. Karim sasa ni mfungwa baada ya kupatikana na hatia na kuhukumiwa kwenda jela miaka sita. Mwezi Machi umekuwa mbaya kwa watawala wa kiafrika. Kwani mke wa rais wa zamani wa Ivory Cost, Dr. Simone Gbagbo alihukumiwa kwenda jela miaka 20 wiki moja kabla ya Karim.
Hata hivyo haya matukio yanatukumbusha kitu kimoja kikubwa kuwa bara la Afrika mara nyingini ni maskini si kutokana na ukosefu wa raslimali wala wachapakazi bali usimamizi na utawala bora. Viongozi wengi wa kiafrika wameruhusu ndugu na marafiki zao kuzihujumu nchi zao kwa kupewa vijirushwa kidogo wakati wanaowatumia wakijiingizia mabilioni ya dola na kuyatoroshea nje huku wakiliacha bara maskini huku watawala wake wakisifika kwa kuombaomba na kukopakopa. Wengine hata hicho wanachoomba hakifikishwi nyumbani zaidi ya kuachwa huko huko ughaibuni kwenye mabenki almaarufu kwa kuficha fedha.
Somo jingine unaloweza kupata kutokana na kufungwa kwa Karim ni kwamba upinzani unaposhinda na kuingia madarakani, uwezekano wa kubadili mambo ni mkubwa ingawa hili siyo mia kwa mia. Nchini Kenya, upinzani ulipoingia haukuwachukulia hatua Moi na watoto wake. Tofauti, nchini Zambia, Fredrick Chiluba na mkewe walichukuliwa hatua za kisheria hadi bi mkubwa kuonja jela. Nchini Malawi mambo yamekuwa nusu kwa nusu kuhusiana na tuhuma zilizomkabili rais wa zamani Bakili Muluzi.
 Tuhitimishe kwa kushauri wahusika watie akili wakijua fika kuwa hakuna kisichobalika chini ya jua. Leo wanakula kwa kujidai wengine hata bila kunawa. Wanatanua kwa msemo wa kisasa, wajue fika mwisho ukifika wanaweza kuishia pakanga. Pia wafahamu kuwa upogo na uroho wao ndicho chanzo cha bara letu kuwa maskini, kukosa usalama na maendeleo. Kuna maisha baada ya kuondoka madarakani. Pia tuwasihi wananchi kuanza kuchukia huu utawala wa kifalme wa kisiasa unaorejeshwa kwa mlango wa nyuma.

Kijiwe chote kimepigwa butwaa na jinsi Mpemba anavyokirudi kigujaraati.
Msomi baada ya kuona lugha gongana zinataka kupoteza mada anaamua kula mic,, “ Ami na Kanji tunawashukuru kwa kugonganisha lugha ingawa bado hamjaleta suluhu ya mada iliyoko mezani.” Anamgeukia Kanji na kusema kwa kigabacholi, “manne maaf karo yaani samahani na kuendelea. Nami nakimanya japo si sana ila hili si muhimu kwa leo. Turejee kwenye mada kwa kutoa shinikizo kwa lisirikali jizi liwashughulikie hawa majambazi wake vinginevyo tuingia mitaani au vipi?
Mipawa anakula mic, “Mie sidhani kama hawa mapapa watafungwa. Nani awafunge wakati wote lao moja? Jiulize akina Rugemalaya na Seti Singasinga wa wa escrew wako wapi zaidi ya kuwa mitaani wakipiga dili nyingine za kuiba kutumia bandari ya kule kwa akina waja leo waondoka leo?”

Mauaji ya albino tuige mfano wa Malawi

        Hivi karibuni serikali nchini Malawi imetangaza hatua za kimapinduzi dhidi ya mauaji ya watu wenye ulemavu wa ngozi. Baada ya kukamatwa wahalifu wenye viungo vya watu wenye ulemavu wa ngozi, serikali imeamuru jeshi la polisi nchini mle kuwapiga risasi watakaokutwa na viungo vya binadamu. Japa wengi wanaweza kuona kuwa hatua hii ni ukiukwaji mkubwa wa haki za bindamu, inabidi wajiulize. Ni binadamu yupi anastahili haki za binadamu kati ya wahanga na wahalifu wanaowawinda na kuwaua watu wenye ulemavu wa ngozi.
Kimsingi, mtu anayewinda, kuua, kumilki, kusafirisha, kuuza na kununua viungo vya binadamu mwenzake si binadamu tena. Hivyo, jinai hii inamuondolea haki za binadamu kutokana na kutenda kinyume na ubinadamu. Siku zote haki huandamana na wajibu. Yeyote anaposhindwa kutimiza wajibu wa kibinadamu, anaondokewa na haki ya kuwa au kufaidi haki za binadamu.
Tatizo la mauaji ya watu wenye ulemavu wa ngozi nchini Malawi si kubwa kama ilivyo Tanzania ambayo inasifika kuwa chanzo cha kadhia hii ya kishenzi na kinyama. Pamoja na udogo wa tatizo, mamlaka nchini Malawi zimeonyesha nia na utashi wa kupambana na tatizo hili hasa kulikomesha. Hii maana yake ni kwamba sisi Tanzania tumezembea. Je kwanini Malawi wamechukua hatua hii ambayo kwa serikali huwa mara nyingi si rahisi kuichukua tena ndani ya muda mfupi?
Kwanza, wanajali haki za binadamu ambapo uhai ni haki kubwa ya binadamu kuliko zote. Pili, wanawajali raia wao kiasi cha kuwa tayari kujiweka kwenye nafasi ya kulaumiwa kwa kuchukua hatua kali hivyo. Tatu wanajua madhara kwa watu binafsi na taifa yatokanayo na mauaji haya ya kinyama na kishenzi yatokanayo na ujinga, roho mbaya, ushirikina na tamaa ya utajiri wa haraka tena bila kutumia maarifa wala kufanya kazi halali. Nne, wanajua madhara ya kadhia hii kwa sifa ya taifa. Malawi ina mottoisemayo kuwa Malawi is warm heart of Africa. hawapendi sifa hii ichafuliwe na yeyote. Na anayejaribu kuichafua havumiliki na serikali itatumia mbinu na sheria yoyote kuhakikisha hili halifanyiki. Je Tanzania sisi motto yetu ni ipi? Kusema ukweli sijui kama tuna kauli mbiu au motto ya kutangaza taifa letu ambalo limegeuka kusanyiko la watu wa hovyo, mafisadi, wezi, majambazi, wauaji, waongo, wanafiki na wababaishaji.
Maana ukiangalia tangu mauaji haya yaanze na hatua ambazo serikali ya Tanzania imechukua, unagundua uhovyo na ukatili wetu kitaifa na sasa kimataifa kutokana na mauaji ya watu wenye ulemavu wa ngozi kusambaa nchi jirani. Malawi ni taifa la pili jinai kukumbwa na kashfa hii ya “kitanzania”. Nchini Burundi vimewahi kuripotiwa vitendo vya mauaji ya watu wenye ulemavu wa ngozi. Shirika la habari la Reuters likikariri taarifa ya Umoja wa mataifa limeripoti kuwa watu wapatao 15 ima wameuawa au kushambuliwa ndani ya  mitatu katika nchi za Burundi, Malawi na Tanzania. Hii si idadi ndogo hata kama ingekuwa ya faru au tembo. Hii si idadi ya watu tu bali watu waliopoteza maisha kwenye mikono ya wanyama waitwao binadamu wenye tamaa ya kutajirika hata kwa kukatiza uhai wa wenzao bila hatia. Malawi imeamua kupambana na tatizo bila kusita wala kificho kwa kuutangazia ulimwengu kuwa itawapiga risasi watakaokutikana na hatia hii ya kuua, kumilki, kusafirisha, kuuuza na kununua viungu vya binadamu. Mkuu wa jeshi la polisi nchini Malawi, Lexen Kachama alikaririwa akitoa amri kuwa askari, “wapige risasi, wahalifu hatari watakapobainika kuwateka watu wenye ulemavu wa ngozi.” Reuters inaripoti kuwa tangu mwaka huu kuanza, watu wenye ulemavu wa ngozi wapatao 10 wameishauawa nchini Malawi. Kachama aliongeza kusema, “Hatuwezi kuangalia tu wakati rafiki zetu wenye ulemavu wa ngozi wakiuawa. Tumegudua kuwa wahalifu hawa ni katili na hawana huruma hivyo washughulikiwe hivyo hivyo.” Kwa maana nyingine, Malawi imeamua kutumia sheria ya jino kwa jino na dawa ya moto ni moto. Wakati mwingine tunahitaji kukabili baadhi ya matatizo kulingana na uhalisia wake. Waingereza husema, “Extraordinary problems need extraordinary solutions” yaani matatizo yasiyo ya kawaida uhitaji suluhu zisizo za kawaida.
Kama tutakuwa makini na wakweli kama taifa, basi mauaji katili na ya kinyama ya ndugu zetu wenye ulemavu wa ngozi yanapaswa kushughulikiwa bila huruma kama ilivyotangazwa nchini Malawi. Hatua iliyochukuliwa na Malawi –pamoja na utata wake kwenye macho ya watetezi wa haki za binadamu –ni ya kuigwa hasa ikizingatiwa kuwa wauawaji wa watu wenye ulemavu wa ngozi ni katili na wasio na utu. Hivyo, tunapowashughulikia tunapaswa kuweka utu pembeni.
Tumalizie kwa kuitaka serikali ya Tanzania ichukue hatua kama hizi ambazo zinaonekana na kuingia akilini badala ya siasa na usanii wa kuwaita viongozi wa watu wenye ulemavu wa ngozi ikulu na kupiga picha nao huku wakiendelea kuangamia. Mauaji ya watu wenye ulemavu wa ngozi yanahitaji ujasiri na utashi wa hali ya juu unaozingatia thamani na haki za binadamu. Tanzania isipobadili mbinu yake ya kupambana na mauaji ya watu wenye ulemavu wa ngozi, basi wana harakati za haki za binadamu waifungulie mashtaka kwenye mahakama ya jinai ya kimataifa ili iweze kuwajibishwa iwalinde raia wake dhidi ya wauaji wasio na huruma wala utu.

          Baada ya kugundua kuwa usanii, ufisi, ufisadi, ubabaishaji,na ukiukwaji wa kanuni hata za kitaalamu na za kimaumbile vimegeuka sera, nimeamua kuchukua hatua mujarabu kabla mauti ya kutengenezwa na ushenzi huu hayajanichukua kabla ya wakati wangu. You know what. Kunazia unaposoma waraka huu toka kwa mtakatifu Mlevi mwana wa Fyatu wa Wafyatue hutaniona tena katikati ya jiji la Dar si Salama. Tokana na ujenzi wa hovyo na wa kifisadi, nachelea kupoteza uhai kana kwamba sina akili.
Pili, nikizingatia kilichotokea mjini Kathmandu Nepal nilikokuwa kikazi hivi karibuni lilipotokea tetemeko la ardhi, sina hamu ya kuishi kwenye miji iliyojengwa kifisadi na kishenzi kama jiji la Bongo na majiji mengine uchwara yaliyotamalaki kayani.  Naona yule anatikisha kichwa akidhani najipa ujiko kusema nilikuwa Kathmandu. Unadhani kuna jipya huko zaidi ya ukata na ukapa na ukwete? Si kama wanaozobokea Bombei wakati tofauti na Bongo ni njaa na uchafu uliojazana huko. Hamuoni magacholi wanavyoukimbia kuja Bongo nini? Hayo tuyaache.
Washikaji zangu wa Dar nawaageni. Uwanja wa Fisi mtanimiss sana bila kusahau jamaa zangu wa escrow, IPTL VIP EPA Ikulu na wengine wengi niliowapa changamoto japo sitaacha kuwatupia vimondo. Guess what. Juzi nilisoma sehemu kuwa mafisadi wa escrow na wametoa mchango wa vyandarua 700 kupambana na malaria! Unaiba mabilioni na kuwahonga wachovu vijisenti uonekane unaijali jamii wakati wewe ndiye muuaji wake mkubwa kuliko hata hiyo malaria.
Kwa wale ambao hawajaipata vizuri ni kwamba sitakanyaga katikati ya jiji la Bongo kwa vile naogopa kudondokewa na kunyotolewa roho na mighorofa yaliyojengwa hovyo na kifisadi. Nilidhani ile ya Kisutu iliyomshinda Profedheha Anna Kajuamlo Tiba-Ijuka ilitosha kumbe najidanganya! Mghorofa wenyewe bado unapeta pamoja na kuamriwa uvunjwe. Unacheza na rushwa nini? Ukiona mighorofa itokanayo na njuluku haramu ya ufisadi, ukwepaji kodi, miunga na ujambazi mwingine inavyoota utadhani maendeleo kumbe maangamio.
Kitu kingine ambacho utaalamu wangu unaniambia kuwa ni chanzo kizuri cha kuongezeka kwa magonjwa ya akili na moyo ni msongamano wa mikangafu inayotoa moshi utadhani majiko ya mkaa au gari moshi la wakati wa mkoloni. Moshi nao si mzuri kiafya. Ni chanzo kizuri cha magonjwa ya moyo pia ukiachia mbali upofu na uharibifu mwingine wa mazingira.
 Mnajaza mikangafu na mighorofa uaji mnajisifu ujinga msijue siku moja mtalia kama vichanga. Majiji yenye akili wanapunguza matumizi ya mikangafu nyinyi mnaibiana na kuijaza na kujisifu mmekuza uchumi kama alivyowahi kusema mjingamjinga mmoja mjivuni kuwa ukiona misongamano ya mikangafu inaongezeka jua uchumi umekua wakati si kweli. Sijui kilaza huyu alipataje shahada ya uchumi!
Kwa vile siku hizi nazinyaka si haba, sipendi kwenda downtown kwa kuogopa vibaka hasa maeneo ya Migomigo na Feri. Pia mibaka inayobaka uchumi wetu inanifanya nichukie kwenda downtown. Maana ukienda kule unakutana na mishangingi yao wakipiga dili kwenye mawizara na ofisi za umma. Kwa vile nina hasira kama morani, naweza kuzaba mtu vibao nikaishia kupoteza muda wangu kwenda kwa ndata kutoa maelezo.
Kingine kitakachofanya kuacha kwenda katikati ya jiji ni wazee wa mabao ambao hukwambia upaki pembeni na kuanza kujifanya wanakagua mkangafu wako kugundua makosa wakati ukweli ni janja ya kukutoa uchache. Sina haja ya kuweka mbanta ndata bure nikaishia kuambiwa nimedharau crown japo wao wanaidhalilisha na kujifanya wanailinda. Huwezi kula rushwa ukawa unaiheshimisha crown zaidi ya kuidhalilisha tena vibaya.  Hapa sijasema tishio la miwaya hasa kutokana na jijini kujaa midada poa inayouza miili yao utadhani majani au nyanya. Mtaisha kwa miwaya. Kwani lazima kuuza miili kana kwamba hamna akili?  Hapa hujaongelea usumbufu wa machinga ambao ukiwa unapata kanywaji huja na kukubughudhi na bidhaa uchwara. Badala ya kwenda kuwaghasi waliowafanya maskini kwa kuruhusu machinga wa kigeni hasa toka China na India kuongeza umaskini wanatughasi tunaopata kanywaji kwa raha zetu.
Kitu kingine kinachonifukuza jijini ni joto. Baada ya mijengo mingi kushushwa katikati ya jiji, joto limeongezeka kiasi cha jiji kugeuka kama tanuri ambalo usipoangalia linakuuguza taratibu. Licha ya kusababisha usumbufu, uchovu na magonjwa ya ngozi, joto husababisha kukosa hamu ya kula na kukosa usingizi wakati wa usiku.
Hakuna kitu kilichonifanya kuogopa katikati ya jiji kama ukoma kama mafuriko ya vinyesi wakati wa masika. Mijengo yote hii iliyooteshwa bila mpango wala kufuata sheria za ujenzi itakujazama kwenye bahari ya vinyesi inayozalisha hasa utapishaji vyoo wakati wa masika. Jamani hata kuzagaa mavi mitaani nayo ni maendeleo au kielelezo kuwa kaya hii sasa ni ya wapumbavu hata wasioona kinyaa kuogelea kwenye vinyesi? Sijui wale wanaopenda kujifisia kuwa wamekuza uchumi kupitia upuuzi watasemaje kuhusu mafuriko ya vinyesi. Usishangae kusikia mjivuni kiherehere akisema kuwa ukiona mafuriko ya vinyesi jua watu wanashiba. Go tell it the birds. Huu ni ushahidi kuwa wanaotawala miji inayofurika vinyesi ni hamnazo na hawana tofauti na inzi mpenda mavi na mizoga. Vinginevyo wangekuwa na akili timamu wakengeona aibu na kuchukia uchafu. Mnalishana mavi halafu mnajisifu? Akili au matope?
Yote tisa, kumi ni kelele za wauza kanda waadhini misiki…. na magari. Nani anataka kufa kwa ugonjwa wa moyo utokanao na makelele hivi? Kama hamjainyaka basi inyakeni kuwa makelele huchangia sana uchafuzi wa mazingira na kusababisha magonjwa ya moyo na ya akili.
Leo naaga kwa kuwataka manesi na wakunga wanaopiga wajawazito hadi wakanyotoka roho au vichanga vyao waache kabla sijahamasisha wachovu wawachome moto kama vibaka.

Can IPTL criminals fight Malaria really?

         When the Indecent Power Transgression Ltd (IPTL/ PAP) got the wind that I've established PAP to protect endangered albinos, decided to ape me. The story that IPTL launched “war” against malaria left me neuseatic. It recently dished out 700 pieces to Wazo Hill, Kawe and Kunduchi residents in a very belittling manner whereby recipients had to cue to get such a shame. Who’s fooling who hither?   Compare the cost of 700 bed nets with $ 122 million IPTL robbed those paupers. You’ll feel woozy.  Will IPTL fool, dupe, take them for a ride and get away with murder? If anything, in the hunk of sane and wise citizenry, this is the last insult one’d think such a tainted firm would issue. Indeed, it is the last provocation boozers would stomach so to speak.
 Again, are those behind this hoax aiming at fighting malaria or hoodwinking boozers to forget their dirty and criminal past? Are they seriously fighting malaria or maliciously duping boozers that they care about them while they actually butcher and rob them? No man’s land sometimes is interesting.  Rob poor boozers billions and offer them a few mosquito nets. They’ll believe you’re a good dude while you actually are a pathetic killer.
If boozers weren't insane and chickens, they’d force those pilfers fry live.  Pay back our dosh instead pretending you’re waging war against malaria? For me, thugs behind escrow kill many more boozers than malaria does. When I calculate the billions of shillings thugs behind escrow stole, I find that if such amount were to be spent on malaria mosquito nets, it’d cover the whole continent.
Let’s do some kindergarten calculus.When the power goes off in our hospitals, more boozers die than would have done if the power supply were regular and predictable. Tanesco hasn't been able to invest in enough priority power projects (using gas) because of the IPTL lobby, which siphons off dirty money through the tax payer. IPTL, thus, contributes to the undercapitalisation of the power sector, which accounts for the frequent power cuts. If IPTL is responsible for (say) 25% of the indebtedness of Tanesco, that means 25% of the power cuts. So –if 60 additional women die in childbirth because of power failures during delivery –then IPTL can be held theoretically responsible for 15 avoidable deaths. Not to mention students who perform poorly because of power cuts.
Wait.  Whose fault is it if the candle Hamisi uses to do his homework falls over when he doses off and the house burns down? Tanesco 100%, IPTL 25%. Guess what. According to Ali Hassan Mwinyi, power cuts force people to sire more babies than when there is power. For, power keeps them busy and awake. The darkness forces them to go to bed earlier and do their things. Overpopulation causes a lot of problems to our begging hunks. So, too, they cause much environmental damage thanks to the use of rotten and old power generators corrupt rulers allow venal traders to import and hike. Of all, power cuts slow down the economy due to the underproduction that leads to price hikes and high cost of living.
The other day I saw the bigwigs in the police force smile as Singasinga Seti of escrow donated a Tshs-20-million cheque. I wondered how such bigwigs could use their tummies instead of their heads. I’d not believe that the department charged with investigating crimes like this would accept such dirty and dupery dosh in the first place. IPTL thugs are offering kickbacks almost to everybody except me. For, such mosquito nets are an insult that is supposed to provoke people to take to the street had our boozers been sane enough. Why are they treating us like a dog that swallows its vomits? Are we as useless as fish that eat the flesh of its colleague? Are we as unreasonable as a rat that dies because of a piece of nut?
Time to tell boozers and their rulers –they must stop thinking like rats –is now. Instead of cheering the dupery of being given handouts from the dosh stolen from your coffers, take on them. Why’d a hunk depend on donations by those robbing it? Such a hunk is inhabited by halfwits, goons, cowards and insane beings that can’t make sense of their situation. Such monkey business reminds me of Kagoda thug who offered some dirty money to suspicious church sometimes back to be seen as a good fella while he actually is a nasty criminal. IPTL did the same last year by offering Tshs 14.5 to St. Peter Catholic Church Oyster Bay which sadly accepted such dirty blindly. Isn't this condoning and abetting graft? No dirty dosh can do the work of God.  For how long will boozers be taken for a ride as if they are tabula rasa?
In a nutshell, PCCB must take on IPTL/PAP arguing to stop abusing boozers through kickbacks and handout. We need our escrow dosh back but not such dirty handouts.

Katiba pandikizi imeshindwa rejesheni ya rasimu ya wananchi

          Kwa hali ilivyo ni kwamba katiba pandikizi ya Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) imeshindwa tena vibaya sana. Pamoja na watawala kujifanya hawaoni wala hawasikii na kutaka kutubambika katiba yenye kulinda maslahi yao binafsi huku ikuhujumu umma, uwezekano wa kufanikisha hujuma hii ni mdogo. Kitendo cha hivi karibuni cha Tume ya Uchaguzi (NEC) kushindwa kuendelea na zoezi chafu la kulazimisha kura ya maoni ni ushahidi tosha kuwa mbinu na harakati zao zinaanza kugonga mwamba. Tuombe, waendelee kuumbuka ili warejeshe rasimu ya Katiba Mpya iliyopendekezwa na wananchi.
Ingawa watawala wamejifanya vichwa ngumu tokana na woga wa kuumbuka kama rasimu ya Katiba Mpya almaarufu kama rasimu ya Wananchi au ya Jaji Joseph Warioba. Watake wasitake kuna siku kweli itadhihiri na wale wote waliofanya uchafu wa kuhujumu taifa wakataka kujificha nyuma ya kinga ya kisheria kwa kuhujumu rasimu mpya wataumbuka. Nadhani kama taifa, tufikie mahali tukubali kuwa kuna maisha baada yetu. Hapa ndipo ulazima na umuhimu wa kuwa na Katiba ya wananchi vinadhihiri.
Japo walitaka kutubambika Katiba yenye kulenga kulinda maslahi uchwara na ya hovyo ya wahalifu wenye madaraka, kuna haja ya watanzania, si kususia tu zoezi hili hata kama watapanga tarehe nyingine muafaka kwa hujuma yao, tunapaswa kuandamana na kupinga zoezi hili linalolenga kutuweka mateka kwenye taifa letu kwa kupitisha sheria inayolinda uovu na uoza. Tuikatae kwa sauti na matendo ili ulimwengu usikie na kujua kuwa tunatambua mbinu zote chafu.
Kama alivyosema mjumbe wa Tume ya Kukusanya Maoni ndugu Joseph Butiku, mambo yote yaliyonyofolewa yarejeshwe tusonge mbele badala ya kupoteza fedha na muda wa watanzania kwa kuleta Katiba pandikizi na ovu kwa taifa ambayo kimsingi haiathiri tu waliopo bali hata vizazi vijavyo. Inashangaza hata busara na uthubutu wa watawala wetu kutaka kuhalalisha haramu na jinai tena kupitia sheria mama ya nchi.
Mzee Butiku alikaririwa hivi karibuni akisema, “Rasimu ya pili ya Katiba iliyotolewa na iliyokuwa Tume ya Mabadiliko ya Katiba ambayo mimi nilikuwa mjumbe, ilikuwa imebeba mambo mengi na muhimu ya wananchi ambayo yaliondolewa, hivyo huu ni wakati mwafaka kutafakari kwa kina jinsi ya kuyarudisha.” Haya ndiyo mawazo ya kulipeleka taifa mbele, yasipuuziwe au kusababisha mzee Butiku atumiwe wahuni wa kukodisha kumtisha na kumdhalilisha kama ilivyotokea kwa Jaji Warioba. Huu ndiyo ukweli ambao hauwezi kuuawa japo unaweza kuchelewesha kwa muda.
Mzee Butiku aliongeza,“Kuna wakati najiuliza maswali mengi na sidhani kama nitampata wa kunijibu, ndiyo maana nasisitiza majadiliano. Inakuwaje unaondoa hata kipengele cha kupima uwajibikaji wa wabunge. Wabunge wana nguvu kuliko waliowachagua ndiyo maana hawaonekani majimboni, lakini wananchi kama walivyotaka kuwa wasipomuona mbunge wao wamuondoe, hili nalo linahitaji majadiliano kuliangalia upya.” Hawa wanaotaka tusiwawajibishe wabunge hawalitakii mema taifa na hawafai wala hawapaswi kuachwa waturejeshe kwenye ukoloni hata kama unatendwa na kusimamiwa na watu weusi wenzetu. Ukoloni ni ukoloni hata utendwe na malaika au wazazi wako.
Unapokuwa na wabunge wasioweza kuwajibishwa pia viongozi wakuu wasiohojiwa ujue unarejesha ukoloni mbaya kuliko hata ule wa wazungu. Ni ukale na hujuma visivyopaswa kuvumiliwa hata kwa sekunde moja. Watu wenye uzalendo, ithibati na uthubutu kama mzee Butiku wanapaswa kuungwa mkono ili kulitendea taifa letu haki. Kutendewa haki si hisani wala utashi wa kikundi cha watu bali haki ya watanzania ambayo wanaweza kuinyakua kwa maguvu pale wanaotaka kufanya hivyo wakiendelea na mipango yao michafu. Kimsingi, wahusika wanaogopa bure. Maana, kuna siku watakuwa nje ya madaraka na wenye visheni na uzalendo watachukua nafasi zao na kufumua mfumo mzima wa wizi waliouunda kwa maslahi uchwara na ya muda mfupi.
Kitendo cha kuhujumu mawazo, utashi na maoni ya wananchi ni cha kihaini. Kuengua na kuvuruga Katiba ya wananchi ni kosa ambalo halipaswi kuvumilika. Hatupaswi kuangalia cheo cha mtu au kikundi bali maslahi ya taifa ya sasa na ya vizazi vijavyo. Wakati mwingine woga na upogo vinaweza kuangamiza taifa. Woga wa watawala uwaamshe watanzania wajue kuwa hakuna mtu awezaye kutawala watu bila ridhaa yao. Haya maguvu na mbinu walivyotumia kuhujumu mawazo yetu ni dalili za woga na ushahidi kuwa tukiamua hakuna awezaye kutuzuia. Nani alitegemea watawala wakatili kama Blaise Compaore aliyemsaliti, kumpindua na kumuua rafiki yake angelazimishwa kuyatema madaraka? Nani aliamini kuwa maimla na ving’ang’anizi kama Muamar Gaddafi, Mengistu Mariam, Hosni Mubarak na Zine el Abdine bin Ali wangetimuliwa kama mbwa koko na wengine kuuawa kwa kipigo cha mwizi? Hii ndiyo jeuri ya umma pale unapochoka na kuamua kusema “Imetosha.” Nasi tufikie mahali tuseme kuwa imetosha kuchezewa hasa mustakabali wetu na vizazi vyetu. Asiyeliona hili hapaswi kuvumiliwa wala kubembelezwa bali kushughulikiwa japo aelimishwe na kuuona mwanga.
Kwa vile Katiba pandikizi imeshindwa hata kabla ya kuzaliwa, tufikie mahali tukubaliane na ukweli kwa kurejesha rasimu halali ya wananchi ili tuepuke kupotezeana fedha na muda bila sababu za msingi. Hiyo pesa na muda tunavyopoteza vinaweza kufanya mambo mengine muhimu kwa taifa na vizazi vijavyo. Tufikie mahali tusema kwa pamoja na kwa kunuia kuwa, “Ssasa imetosha’ basi rejesheni katiba yetu ambayo si yetu tu bali ya wote. Walatini husema, “Vox Populi, Vox Dei’ yaani sauti ya wengi ni sauti ya Mungu. Basi tumsikilizeni na kumheshimu ‘Mungu’ kabla ya kupambana na hasira zake.

          Hivi karibuni Taasisi ya Kupambana na Kuzuia Rushwa (Takukuru) iliamua kujivua gamba kwa kusema wazi nani ni gamba na mhimili wa rushwa na ufisadi nchini. Baada ya kushambuliwa kuwa haifanyi kazi vilivyo, Takukuru iliamua kuweka mambo hadharani. Vyombo vya habari hivi karibuni vilimkariri Daniel Mtuka, Kamanda wa Takukuru wa Dar es Salaam akisema, “Taasisi iko tayari hata kama viongozi au wanachama watatuletea malalamiko hayo leo (jana). Bila ushirikiano wa viongozi inakuwa vigumu kufuatilia.”  Kumbe kutofanya kazi vizuri kwa Takukuru siyo lengo lao bali wale wanaowaamuru? Je Takukuru inaweza kuwakamata wala rushwa na mafisadi ima waliomo madarakani au marafiki na wana familia zao wakati iko chini ya rais?
Tokana na madai kuwa Takukuru inanyimwa “ushirikiano” na mamlaka za juu, tunapata jibu ni kwanini ufisadi na rushwa vimetamalaki. Huu ni ushahidi kuwa wahusika wananufaika na jinai hii. Je hii ndiyo sababu ya kuiweka Takukuru chini ya ofisi ya rais ili kuifunga gavana isiwaguse wasioguswa kama Mtuka anavyoeleza hapa? Anasema, “Kwa kesi ya rushwa kwa wagombea hao, ni vigumu kwani tuliwahi kukutana na changamoto ya kushindwa kufanya kazi yetu miaka iliyopita tulipomnasa mgombea fulani wa ubunge CCM ambaye pia alikuwa kiongozi wa chama. Sisi tulidhani ni tatizo, lakini hali hiyo ikaonekana kuwa siyo tatizo, akasema ni sahihi na ataingia kutekeleza ilani ya chama.” Huu ni ushahidi wa wazi kuwa CCM ndiyo mhimili mkuu wa rushwa kutokana na kunufaika nayo. Je ni wabunge wangapi wanaomaliza muda wao walioingia madarakani ima kwa kutoa rushwa, kutangazwa kwa mabavu tofauti na ukweli halisi wa matokeo? Ni wengi na wanafahamika. Je baada ya wananchi kupata ukweli huu, wataruhusu jinai hii iendelee hata kwenye uchaguzi ujao? Nadhani Mtuka amewarahisishia kazi wapiga kura. Kimsingi, amewaonya kuwa wasipojiandaa kulinda kura zao na kugomea washindi wa kimabavu mchezo utaendelea.
Mtuka wala hafichi. Anaonyesha wazi nani ni kikwazo na nini kifanyike. Aliongeza kusema, “(Iwapo watatoa ushirikiano) Itakuwa rahisi kuona tunaanzia wapi, pia (kwa kuangalia) mfumo wa chama, taratibu zake, katiba na ilani yake wanafanyaje kazi.” Kuthibitisha ukweli wa madai haya, wahusika wala hawakujihangaisha kujibu wala kukanusha. Je watu wa namna hii wanaotegemea rushwa na uchakachuaji kuwa madarakani wanaweza kuandaa uchaguzi wa maana ambao kwa kiingereza huitwa free and fair au huru na wa haki?
Nadhani kuna kitu Takukuru walichelea kukisemea ambacho ni ukweli kuwa hawa watoa rushwa wakubwa walioko madarakani, pia hupata fedha za kuhongea kupitia rushwa hiyo hiyo. Wanapewa rushwa ili wapate fedha ya kutoa rushwa kwa wapiga kura. Ni mchezo wa mduara ambaye mlaji naye huliwa. Ni kulana kwa kwenda mbele. Wazito wanahongwa na wawekezaji na matajiri wenye maslahi binafsi kama vile kupewa misamaha ya kodi, kuingiza bidhaa tata na mazabe mengine. Nao wanatumia fedha hiyo hiyo waliyohongwa kuwahonga wapiga kura. Hivi ndivyo mfumo fisadi ulivyojengeka. Mgombea ubunge ambaye alikuwa mbunge anatumia muda wake bungeni kupata fedha toka kwenye mashirika yawe ya umma au ya binafsi, wawekezaji wanaojipatia mikataba tata ya kuliumiza taifa ili atumie fedha hiyo kuwahonga wapiga kura na Takukuru ikija juu inaambiwa hiyo sivyo.
Kwa wale wenye nyadhifa serikali ambao si wabunge tayari, wanaiba mahali pao pa kazi na kupata mtaji wa kununulia ubunge kwa njia ya hongo. Urais nao kadhalika. Rejea taarifa za hivi karibuni kuwa rais ajae atapata urais kwa kutumia shilingi bilioni 20. Na aliyekadiria hivi alipatia hasa ikikumbukwa jinsi urais unaokwisha ulivyopatikana kwa fedha za EPA ambazo wahusika hawajawahi kutolea maelezo wala utetezi zaidi ya kujifanya hayawahusu wala hawahusiki.
Kimsingi, tokana na haya yaliyofichukiwa na Takukuru ni kwamba bila kuiondoa CCM watanzania wasitegee mabadiliko yoyote. Kama umma hautaamka na kuanza kuchukua hatua kuzuia jinai hii, wataendelea kulalamika na kugeuzwa shamba la bibi. Tumezidiwa na mataifa madogo kama Burundi na Burkina Faso! Kinachoendelea nchini Burundi ambapo rais anayemaliza muda wake anataka agombee kipindi kingine kinyume cha sheria ni ushahidi na somo tosha kwa watanzania kuwa wasipoanza kujenga tabia ya kukataa upuuzi wataendelea kufanyiwa upuuzi.
Kama Takukuru imenyima makali na mazingira mazuri ya kufanya kazi zake, waajiriwa wake wanalipwa kwa lipi wakati hawana la kufanya? Je kuna haja ya kuendelea kuiweka Takukuru chini ya ofisi ya rais ili aitumie kulinda watu wake na uoza wao? Je kuna haja ya kuendelea kuiamini CCM wakati imetuhumiwa kushiriki ufisadi kila aina? Nadhani hapa tunapata jibu ni kwanini watuhimiwa wa kuficha fedha nje ya nchi au wezi wa escrow hawakamatwi na kufikishwa mahakamani wala mabilioni ambayo mamlaka za Uswisi ziliamua kutoa ushirikiano yarejeshe hayarejeshwi. Kumbe tatizo si jingine bali utawala wa CCM! Japo hamfai, hongera Takukuru kwa kuisuta CCM kwa kuweka mambo hadharani.
Tunadhani hata wafanya biashara ya unga na majambazi wanaendelea na jinai zao bila wasi wasi kutokana na kujua kuwa kumbe watawala wanahitaji fedha kwa njia yoyote ilmradi waendelee kuwa madarakani.

Kijiwe chamkumbusha rahisi ahadi zake

 Rahisi Jey Kiquette ameanza kuaga wachovu. Kwani mwakani saa kama hizi atakuwa nje ya ikuu akitazama wenzake wanavyofanya vitu vyao. Ni wakati mgumu. Maana hujui atakayechukua ngoma atakutenza vipi hasa ikizingatiwa kuwa unaacha madudu na uoza kibao nyuma.
Leo kijiwe kimekaa kama kamati kumkumbusha mheshimiwa rahisi baadhi ya ahadi zake ili lau atoe maelezo kabla ya kuishia.
Leo Mpemba ndiye anaanzisha mada. Anakatua mic, “Jamani miaka haikawiii wallahi. Naona ni kama jana tulipokwenda kwenye uchakachuaji tukaishia kupata zali.”
Mipawa anakula mic, “Ni kweli muda haukawii sema kuna wakati unaganda hasa ukiangalia mauzauza yanayoendelea.”
Mgosi Machungi anapoka mic, “Tikubaiane. Miaka kumi iiyopita imekuwa ya hasaa kwa kaya yetu hasa tokana na mkuu kushindwa kutekeeza ahadi zake.”
Msomi anatia buti kwa kasi ya ajabu, “Msemayo ni kweli japo sikubaliani na hoja kuwa mkuu hakufanikisha kitu. Kama mnakumbuka, aliingia kwenye ulaji na kauli ya ANGUKA. Na kweli alihakikisha tunapata anguko hasa wale tulioamini ahadi zake. Kwa hili amefanikiwa kiasi cha kustahiki nishani ya maanguko.”
Sofia Lion aka Kanungaembe anamchomekea Msomi huku akimkazia macho, “Sasa usomi wako unakupelekea kubaya. Ni lini mheshimiwa rahisi alisema kuwa sera yake ni anguka kama siyo uongo wa mchana. Unadhani hatuna akili kiasi cha kutuletea vitu vya kuzua namna hii?
Msomi anakatua mic huku akitabasamu, “Sofi dadangu niseme mara ngapi kuwa kuna kitu kimekuingilia?”
Kabla ya kuendelea Sofi anajihami, “Sasa kaka Msomi haya matusi. Nataka ujibu swali badala ya kurusharusha.”
“Usikonde dadangu nimejiandaa kukutosheleza kwa dozi ya uhakika. Ninaposema ANGUKA sizui. Namaanisha kauli mbiu ya Ari Mpya, Nguvu Mpya na Kasi Mpya ambayo ukiiuganisha unapata ANGUKA. Mbona ni jambo rahisi dadangu!”
“Kumbe unamaanisha muunganisho wa kauli mbinu!” Sofi anajibu akionyesha wazi kuzidiwa kete.
Kabla ya kuendelea, Kapende anamchomekea, “Sofi huna haja ya kubisha. Kama hili unaona lina shaka basi nakupa dozi nyingine tofauti. Unakumbuka jamaa aliahidi kutaja majina ya wauza unga majambazi, mafwisadi, majambazi hata vidokozi bandarini aliyesema ana orodha zake?”
Kabla ya Sofia kujibu Mbwamwitu anaongezea, “Pia akumbuke kuwa jamaa yake aliahidi maisha bora kwa wote. Yako wapi iwapo kwa  miaka kumi tumeendelea kuwa hapa kijiweni bila ajira ukiachilia mbali shilingi yetu kuendelea kuporomoka kama ina ugonjwa wa kuharisha?”
Msomi ananyakua mic, “We Mbwamwitu, unaongea kama umesoma nilichokuwa nataka kusema. Nadhani dadaangu hapa atatosheka na ajinyamazie kimya.”
Sofia anaonyesha hana la kijibu zaidi ya kutoa macho kama panya aliyenaswa mtegoni.
Kanji anakamua mic, “Jamani dugu zangu sema kweli. Mimi ona jamaa fanya mambo kuba sana. Najenga barabara. Nasatangaza jina ya taifa kwa dunia sana sana.”
Mheshimiwa Bwege hangoji. Anakula mic, “Kama utaangalia mambo kwa uoni wa karibu unaweza kuona jamaa kafanya maajabu. Ila kama utatuliza akili utagundua kuwa mengi ni sanaa. Barabara unazomsifia zinafikia kiwango cha ubora wakati zinasifika kwa kunyotoa wachovu roho tokana na kujengwa chini ya kiwango? Hizo ziara za kutangaza kaya nje ndiyo sitaki niziongelee hasa ikizingatiwa kuwa kaya yetu inafahamika hata kabla ya kupata uhuru.”
Mchunguliaji anaamua kuchomekea, “Kwani tulinchagua akazurure au atawale kwa kutatua kero zetu badala ya kuzizidisha kwa kupenda kutanua huku akitumia mabilioni ya kodi zetu?
“Mie nakubaliana na Msomi mia kwa mia kuwa alichofanya ni kufanikisha anguko la kaya. Hivi mnajua deni la kaya limeumka kiasi gani? Je mnajua ni kiasi gani mafisadi wameshika kani? Laiti angesema alikuwa akienda ughaibuni kudai mabilioni yaliyofichwa na washikaji zake lau angeeleweka. Mengine naona sanaa tu.” Kapende anazidi kusiliba.
Mgosi anarejea, “ Kapende tafadhai usitiize. Maana ukiangaia madudu na uoza viivyotamaaki unatamani ulie tate nane tate nane aondoka huenda wakaja watu wenye udhu na akii waekebishe huu uoza.”
Kabla ya kuendelea Kanji anamchomekea, “Dugu yangu Gosi hap alia. Kama nalia vatu nacheka veve.”
Msomi anaamua kutia daruga tena, “Wazee, kama tutakuwa wakweli ni kwamba hii miaka kumi inayoisha imekuwa ya hasara na nakma. Tuombe Mungu jamaa atimue lau tuanze arifu na ujiti. Maana mambo yalivyokaa hasa uchumi na uwajibikaji, tuendako twaweza kuchenchiana hasa kama Tume ya NEC ya uchakachuaji itampa ushindi fisadi mwingine. Who wants the same mess once again?”
Sofi haridhiki. Anakula mic, “Jamani mfanyiwe nini ndipo mshukuru? Juzi nilisikia kwenye hotuba ya mheshimiwa kuwa amekuza elimu hasa kujenga shule nyingi za upili kayani. Je haya si mafanikio.”
Mzee Maneno anakula mic, “Umemaliza? Hizo shule ni shule kweli au mijengo ya kuongeza ujinga? Shule gani zinatoa wahitimu wasiojua kusoma na kuandika kama ambavyo utafiti wa hivi karibuni umebaini? Ulitegemea alisemee hili wakati anajua alivyovurunda?”
Mpemba anajerejea, “Wallahi umenikumbusha haya maafa ya kuua ilmu. Kweli, usemayo, wategemea watu kama docta Shukuruni Kawa-mbwa wakuze ilmu wakati wako pale kuiua? Hebu jikumbushe tukio la hivi karibuni ambapo waliazimia eti ilmu kayani itatolewa kwa kimakonde. Haya nayo maendeleo au ndiyo hiyo hiyo ANGUKA anoogelea Nsomi?”
Kijiwe kikiwa kinanoga ndata walianza kufunga barabara kupisha msafara wa rahisi.

Nkurunziza save Burundi instead of "serving" her

          Unfolding crisis in Burundi is an extraordinary problem that begs for an extraordinary means to reach the solution. Slowly Burundi is cascading into her violent past after having a ten-year reprieve. Again, shall any Armageddon happen, the outgoing president Pierre Nkurunziza will be held accountable.
All heavens broke loose when Nkurunziza wanted to go against the constitution, running for the third term contrary to the very constitution he appended his signature to protect. Now that Nkurunziza has purposely decided to trample on the constitution to even being ready to see the country going to the dogs so that he can cling to power, the East African Community needs to reign in. again, when we consider what has been going on vis-a-vis power hunger and greed, does the EAC have what it takes to take on Nkurunziza while what he is not attempting is not new in the community?  Apart from Kenya and Tanzania, who is clean enough to tell Nkurunziza to stop his power play? Is it possible for the EAC as a bloc to take on Nkurunziza or some individual countries with sanity should do so on its behalf? Again, if we look at policy differentials whereby the EAC is divided between CoW and TABU or Tanzania and Burundi, no country has any moral authority to reign in. At least Kenya has more sanity and cleanliness compared to the rest. Again, looking at the quandary Kenya is in in Somalia, no way Kenya can add another bone to her plate.  Tanzania comes second however it is a close associate of Burundi. Given that Kenya is already over-busied in Somalia, Tanzania needs to put her individual interests aside and take on Nkurunziza knowing that if she looks at personal attachment, shall things go overboard, everything will be sadden history. Tanzania is the only player that can save EAC's face. Firstly, it has the most influential and the strongest and most experienced army in the region apart from being the big brother of the region. Secondly, Tanzania bears the brunt when refugees start thronging on the borders.  When it comes to other members namely Rwanda and Uganda, their heads have already committed the same sin Nkurunziza is attempting.
We need to tell Nkurunziza that Burundi is more than an individual. What he is attempting failed in Malawi, Senegal and Zambia among many. If he thinks he loves the country he portends he want to serve, he’d abandon his project. What is seen in Bujumbura streets suffices to convince any sane person that the third term is but a button that will signal Burundi to the Armageddon. If Nkurunziza’s aim is truly to serve Burundi but not to serve his hidden agendas, he has all he needs to abandon his shot to the third term. Burundi is more important than Nkurunziza. Underscoring this means that Nkurunziza will put the nation before anything including his love to serve. If those he wants to serve have declined, why’d he force? Forcing will be construed as having person interested wrapped in serving the country.
Looking at a very complicate and violent history of Burundi, whoever who loves this tiny country, will be ready to sacrifice anything in order to avert her from harm’s way.
However, Nkurunziza has the point in that his first term in office resulted from being voted for by parliament but not all Burundians. Again, Burundi constitution is clear about this. It says that the president must be voted for and must serve more than two terms. According to the Reuters, over 25,000 Burundians have already fled the country after demonstrations against Nkurunziza’s third term started.  Reuters quoted one western diplomat saying, "We have already warned the authorities that they would be responsible for any impact of the decision on security in the electoral process."
All those are but writings on the wall for whoever loves Burundi to call it quits as far as the third term is concerned. If anybody puts the nation before his personal interest (s), what is going on in Burundi suffices to convince him to think twice. No ruler can rule a chaotic country. Nkurunziza needs to be helped out of this impasse. Who knows? Things can go out of control so as to guarantee Nkurunziza destination to be The Hague. He orders army to take control of the situation. He can’t foresee what the minds of those he orders are. One bullet can cause a fatality that can trigger chaos. Shall this happen, Nkurunziza will be answerable.
So, too, underscoring economic dependence Burundi has always faced, one’d think that Nkurunziza would, so, too, consider it. Burundi is one of the poorest countries on earth. Give her a break. What transpired in 1972 and 1993 suffices to move any sane and patriotic soul to put whatever hidden or in store for him to the stop for the love of his nation. Africa, especially, the EAC needs to be strong on Nkurunziza underscoring the mess his move will add on the already deeply felt mess of tampering with the constitutions.

Nkurunziza, Burundi is more than presidency.  Please abandon your third- term project for the love of Burundi. What a wonderful legacy!
