Presidency: Boozers to demonstrate to bar Lower-Sir

 After unraveling the mystery-cum-gambit by tainted politicians who seek to use goons and opportunists to portray themselves as popular, boozers are preparing the “mother” of all demos in the hunk. We’re seeking to urge Eddie Lower-Sir not to run for presidency. Instead, we want him to mount his defence vis-à-vis damning allegations that have hovered over his head for years. We’d like him to shine light on all allegations of graft from those tossed by our guru boozer, Mwl JK Mchonga who alleged that the guy amassed ill-gotten wealth that he’s now using to buy even clergy to pretend that they support his candidacy while they abhor it.
We’ll seek to tell him point blank to elucidate what he knows about Richmonduli and the role he played to see to it that our dosh was stolen. We won’t let him dupe boozers by portraying himself as a fit candidate. Shall he stay put; we’ll seek to petition that he’d be barred from running until he gives us some sensible explanations regarding all allegations.
We wondered and we’re shocked to see how clergy dressed themselves by turning themselves into diaper for the wino. This dude thinks that we’re all insane and too cheap to dupe cheaply. We can’t help but to play a vital role to see to it that he is not running so that he can steal even more however running for any position for any Danganyikan is the constitutional right. We need to probe those pretending that we've easily forgotten their messes.  We need to show the Bongolalalanders that nobody has the guts to take us for a ride once again. We are dissatisfied with his friend’s regime that has always blessed graft so as to be in bed with thieves and venal officials.
We still believe that our ikulu is the holy of the holy. Thus, we need a person of integrity that can purify it from the mess it is in now after all sorts of delinquents took it and defecated on it. We need a clean person whose actions, words and history attest to his cleanliness but not con men and opportunists to dupe us and get away with murder.
The other day when I saw clergy degrading themselves I felt like crying. It is alleged that they gave their man some dosh for running for the presidency, what were they buying? How can they prove that they gave the dosh to the dude but not vice versa? Who need the candidate who waits to be asked to run? If anything, this shows that he was not prepared for the task. We better boycott this hoax aimed at superimposing some bad fellows in our ikulu. Why did they allow their hunger and myopia to be used to abuse them that way? One boozer left me in stitches when he said that those folks were not sheikhs but shehenas that can swallow anything haram and halal. Why didn't they underscore the fact that the person they alleged they went to convince to run declared his intention many years ago? I can assure everybody that this ploy won’t work. If it does, it’ll backfire just soon believe ye me.
 We still vividly remember how in 2005 some crooks hoodwinked us promising better life for all that turned out to be better live for them and worse life for us. My foot! We can’t repeat the same mistake this time around. A fool is the one that is bitten twice in the same hole. It can’t be and it shouldn't. Some of Lower-Sir henchmen and hired- spin doctors are trying by all means to portray their pay master as a clean person. Phew! Go tell it to the birds. We know how tainted the man is. We know this too well. When he was involved in the Richmonduli scandal –for instance – he was accorded the opportunity to mount his defence, ironically, he declined to do. What does this mean? It obviously speaks volumes for his detriment. When Mzee Mchonga alleged that the dude amassed ill-gotten wealth, the dude kept mum. What else do you want to underscore the truth that the fella is corrupt through and through? 
Boozers are not crazy and foolish altogether. They want to make their voices heard this time around. They will fill all streets of Dar-si-Salama to tell the world that they’re tired of being turned into guinea pigs for political experiments. The one that’s lapsing is enough. Please give boozers a break so that they can sieve and probe competent candidates. Who wants another ANGUKA?
I like Jan Makambaa allegations that Lower-Sir offered some vijisenti and ubwabwa to the so-called sheikhs to demonstrate to show how he has the support of the earthlings. Again, he forgot one thing. It goes without saying that this move can be construed as shehenas having their person who’ll defend their hidden interests. Also, it can be construed that sheikhs are predisposed and exposed to njaa more than chungajiz.

Please Mr. Lower-Sir, stop your hopeless journey and abusing those poor creatures.

Naandika makala hii kwa masikitiko makubwa sana. Moyo wangu unasononeka kutokana na jinsi elimu ambayo hapo zamani ilikuwa ufunguo inavyonajisiwa na kuharibiwa bila sababu za msingi wala ulazima. Inakera na kuumiza ajuaye Mungu na waathirika wa kadhia hii ya kutengenezwa na watu wachache wasio na uzalendo kwa maslahi binafsi tena ya muda mfupi.
Hivi karibuni serikali imekuja na kile ilichokiita sera mpya ya elimu kwa taifa. Hata hivyo, ukiangalia yaliyomo kwenye sera husika unadiriki kusema si sera kitu. Japo sera husika ina mapungufu mengi, hakuna lililostua wengi kama kusema kuwa tangia sasa wanafunzi watasoma kitabu kimoja kimoja kila darasa. Ili iweje? Kwanini kitabu kimoja? Je tuna uhaba wa vitabu au kuna tatizo jingine. Wahusika hawakutoa majibu wala sababu za maana za kuua na kuidhalilisha elimu kiasi hiki.
Inashanga kuona wizara ya Elimu na Mafunzo ya Ufundi inayosimamiwa na mtu mwenye shahada ya uzamivu (PhD) Shukuru Kawambwa –ambaye kimsingi anapaswa kujua umuhimu wa elimu –kukubaliana na kupitisha madudu haya. Je mnapotumia kitabu kimoja, kitapatikanaje bila tenda ya kukitunga kutolewa kifisadi kama ilivyozoeleka? Je hao watunzi na wachapishaji vitabu mmewaweka kundi gani katika biashara hii ya maarifa? Je wahusika wamezingatia maslahi ya taifa au maslahi yao na watu wao ambao watateuliwa kutunga vitabu tena kwa kubabaisha ili wapate tenda na kutoa vitabu vya hovyo ilmradi wao wapate chao?
Siamini kama busara iliyotumika ina mantiki au kuzingatia mahitaji ya taifa hasa wakati huu ambapo dunia inashuhudia ushindani mkubwa kielimu. Nashangaa, wakati Tanzania ikipitisha balaa la mwanafunzi kusoma kitabu kimoja, binti yangu wa darasa la kwanza hapa Kanada kwa mwezi anasoma si chini ya vitabu thelathini vya watoto ambavyo hupewa akaja navyo nyumbani na wazazi wakamsimamia akawasomea wakamkosoa na kumsaidia alipokwama na baadaye kuandika mapendekezo yao, na udhaifu waliogundua ili walimu wamsaidie. Je huyu unaweza kumpambanisha na mwenzake aliyesomea kwenye sakafu halafu akasoma kitabu kimoja?  Je kwanini wakubwa wametenda jinai hii au ni kwa vile wana fedha na fursa ya kuwapeleka watoto wao ughaibuni wakapata elimu bora ili wanaporejea wawatawale wajinga wa kutengenezwa na sera kama hii?
Kusema ule ukweli ni kwamba siku hizi elimu, watunzi na wachapishaji wa vitabu wametiwa kitanzi sijui ili iweje. Siku si chache tutaanza kununua vitabu hata vya Kiswahili Kenya na Uganda kana kwamba Kiswahili si lugha yetu. Mfano wa karibuni ni kwamba nilitoa kitabu changu cha pili kiitwacho NYUMA YA PAZIA. Tokana na ujinga, upogo, kujuana, ufisadi na woga vilivyotamalaki nchini, nililazimika kukichapisha nchini Cameroon ambako hawajui hata neno moja la Kiswahili.  Kwa kujua thamani ya elimu, kitabu husika kimo mbioni kutafiriwa kwa kiingereza ili waone jinsi ya kukitumia mashuleni na vyuoni. Hapa maana yake ni kwamba unapokataliwa hapa jaribu pale. Je hata hivyo, ni wangapi wana uwezo wa kufanya hivyo?  Baada ya kugundua janga linalokabili elimu, watunzi na wachapishaji nchini, nimechukua uamuzi mwingine. Kwa sasa nimeamua kuandika vitabu vya Kiingereza tena vya elimu ya juu baada ya kugundua kuwa nchi yangu haina uchungu na elimu wala sanaa ambayo imegeuka matusi ya nguoni na kienyeji. Hata hivyo, unategemea nini unapokuwa na viongozi wanaoshabikia kughushi na kuzawadiwa shahada kama shada la maua?
Hata hivyo, hebu tuuangalie ukweli hata kama unakera na kuuma. Hivi, unategemea nini kwenye nchi ambapo kila mtu anaweza kuukata kirahisi bila kutumia maarifa zaidi ya jinai? Unategemea nini toka nchi ambako viongozi wa juu kama vile mawaziri wanaghushi sifa na shahada za kitaaluma na hawawajibishwi, kushtakiwa wala kuona aibu huku wakiendelea kufanya madudu? Je wahalifu kama hawa wanaweza kuona umuhimu wa elimu wakati wana sifa uchwara ambazo hawakuzitolea jasho? Kwao elimu si bora sawa na utajiri hata kama unatokana na njia chafu kama vile ufisadi, rushwa, wizi, ujambazi, utapeli, miahdarati hata kudhalilishwa.   Hata hivyo, tuwe makini na tayari. Vizazi vijavyo vitatulaumu na kutudharau kama kizazi kibovu ambacho hakikutumia akili wala uzalendo katika kutenda mambo yake. Sishangai kuyasoma haya wala sitegemei hawa manyang'au wanaweza kubadilika. Hata hivyo wana shida gani wakati wanaiba fedha ya umma na kusomesha watoto nje ya nchi kwa kodi za wannchi wanoawahujumu kwa shule za kata ambazo mimi huziita shule za kataa elimu?

Tumalizie kwa kuwataka wadau wa elimu nchini kupinga juhudi hizi zisizo na tija kwao na taifa la kutaka wanafunzi wasome kitabu kimoja jambo ambalo litawanyima fursa ya kupata maarifa zaidi na uwezo wa kupambanua na kuchambua mambo kisomi. Kwanini tunarejesha taifa nyuma hata kuliko kabla tulipoachwa na mkoloni? Kutumia kitabu kimoja mashuleni – licha ya kudumaza akili za wanafunzi – ni kuhujumu na kuua watunzi na wachapishaji wa vitabu jambo ambalo si jema kwa mustakabali wa taifa. Serikali haiwezi kuruhusiwa kujifanyia inavyotaka wakati ipo madarakani kuwahudumia – si kuwahujumu wala kuwatumia wanachi – bali kuwatumikia kwa namna wanavyotaka. Hapa lazima tuseme wazi kuwa kutumia kitabu kimoja – licha ya wahusika kuchemsha – wameonyesha upungufu wa hali ya juu tena wakati huu tunapoelekea kwenye uchaguzi. Nadhani hiki kitakuwa kichocheo cha kutowapa kura kwa vile wanaonyesha wasivyojali maslahi ya taifa bali maslahi yao binafsi kama ilivyoonyeshwa hapo juu.

No sane person would believe that after the Ferguson massacre of an Afro-American teen Michael Brown,August 9, 2014 police would repeat the same just seven months thereafter. Again, what should they fear or worry about if at all they are exonerated as if they are shooting skunk among the chosen ones? Before the Ferguson Missouri killing, police were at it in New York where Eric Garner, 43 was choked to death on 17 July 2014. Just today  police in North Carolina , shot unarmed man in East Mecklenburg County.  For how long Afro-American are going to be killed by white supremacists embedded in police? For how long the justice in the US is going to ignore black life by exonerating killers? If anything, this is but made in US terrorism against Afro-Americans.

         Baada ya kuona kasi na namna kashfa iliyozamisha njuluku kibao za wachovu, Kijiwe kimeamua kurejesha suala zima kwa hadhira lau ihoji kama si hivyo basi ichukie ili wakati wa kupiga kura iwaadhibu hawa matwahuti na majambazi wanawaibia wadanganyika.
Mijjinga anaingia akiwa na gazeti la Kijiweni Daima. Baada ya kuamkua anamwaga stori, “Wazee mna habari kuwa kuna ufisadi mkubwa unapangwa na mafisi na mafisadi waliozoea kutuibia? Rafiki yangu ambaye ni shushushu amenipasha kuwa wameamriwa waanze mpango wa kutumia uchakachuaji ujao kupiga njuluku za wadanganyika hasa katika manunuzi ya zana wanazotangaza wakati ni bomu tupu.”
“Hii kali kweli kweli. Yaani pamoja na kuiba njuluku za EPA hawajaridhika!” anajibu  Mzee Maneno. Na kuendelea, “Sina shaka na habari hii kutokana na nijuavyo uroho, roho mbaya, ufisi na ufisadi wa watu wetu.”

“Hapa timeewana,” Mgosi aonyesha kuridhika huku akigonganisha mkono na Mipawa kama wafanyavyo marasta. Anaendelea kula mic, “Kwei hii kaya ni ya mabunga na wehu. Uimuona yue fisadi aiyekusanya mashehena na waganga njaa eti kwenda kumipa pesa agombee uahisi? Kwei nimeamini. Namna hii escoo nyingi zitatokea. Hivyo, sitashangaa kusikia kuwa baadhi ya wagombea wanahonga njuuku za escoo akiwamo huyu habithi na fisadi wa kutupwa wa Richmondui.” 
“Usitutie madole ndugu yangu. Japo ameshindwa hata kabla ya kugombea, usinitajie huyo fisadi. Natamani nile nyama yake.” Mheshimiwa Bwege anadakia. Kabla ya kuendelea, Mbwamwitu anamuonya, “Mheshimiwa angalia hiyo lugha usijetutukana tukashikana mashati bure.”
Mheshimiwa Bwege anajibu, “Siwezi kuwazuia kufikiri na kutafsiri mtakavyo. Namaanisha kuturejeshea kumbukumbu za uchungu ndugu yangu. Mna habari juzi nilimuona Muongo akitanua kana kwamba si mhalifu anayepaswa kunonihino kwenye debe.”
Sofia Lion aka Kanungaembe kaguswa pabaya. Alikuwa akitafuta pa nafasi sasa kaipata. Anakula mic, “Acheni wivu. Mtu akitajirika nyie mwadhani ameiba au kufanya ufisadi. Mmeambiwa mtukufu atawashughulikia watuhumiwa. Kumbuka hawa ni watuhumiwa tu.”
Kabla ya kuendelea Mbwamwitu aliyekuwa akitafuta upenyo wa kuchomekea anamchomekea Sofi, “Malizia wivu wa kike.” 
Sofi anamdharau Mbwamwitu na kuzoza, “ Nasema hawa ni watuhumiwa. Hawajakutikana na hatia. Hujui sheria nini?”
“Mbona watuhumiwa wa wizi wa kuku wanawekwa rumande hawaachwi kama unavyotaka au wameishakukatia nini kama yule Nguuumo wa Ikuu nini?” Kapende anauliza huku akionyesha wazi kumdharau Sofi.
Mipawa naye anaongezea huku akimtazama Sofi na kutabasamu, “Sofia acha utani. Nani amshughulikie nani wakati kambale wote wana sharubu? Yaani kwa akili zako ulitegemea nyani amhukumu ngedere kwa wizi wa mahindi shambani mwa bibi siyo? Umenoa.”
Mpemba aliyekuwa kimya muda mrefu akivuta uradi anaamua kutia guu, “Wallahi mie nshangaa sana. Ilikuwaje huyu jamaa akawaamuru wezi wa HEPA wakarejesha njuluku kama alivosema.  Sasa ashindwani kuwaamuru na hawa watu wake warejeshe njuluku yetu kama hashirikiani nao ati? Mie antia wasi wasi kusema ule ukweli. Agwaye wezi utadhani ndo walomweka madarakani.”
“Sofi imekuingia hiyo? Maana ni bonge la pwenti au siyo? Patamu hapo au vipi?” Mbwamwitu anamtania Sofi huku akimsukasuka.
“Je nawe imekuingia kiasi cha kufurahia hivyo?” Sofi anajitetea. Kabla ya kuendelea Mbwamwitu anamchomekea kwa mara ya pili.
Mbwamwitu anajibu, “Nadhani Ami alikulenga wewe baada ya kulalamika Kanji haridhiki. Anakwanyua mic, “Tafadhili dugu yangu Bwamwitu acha chomeka Sofi. Kwanini veve penda chomeka Sofi kila siku?”
Kijiwe hakina mbavu. Mgosi Machungi anapaza sauti, “Kanji chonde chonde hiyo uga sema veve tusi kuba tupu dugu yangu.”
Msomi Mkatatamaa aliyekuwa amechelewa kuingia kijiweni anakamua mic, “Nimekusikia ndugu yangu mheshimiwa Bwege. Usemayo ni kweli, Muongo alipaswa kuwa Keko au Segerea tena akingojea kunyongwa. Pia si yeye peke yake. Hata akina Seti Singha na Rugemalayer walipaswa kuwa wemeishaoza makaburini kama tungekuwa tunachukia ufisadi. Sasa wanatukoga na kusema yako wapi.  Wao ni lisirikali ndani ya lisirikali. Si unaona Rugemalayer na Seti Singha ndiyo hao wanazidi kuchonga madili mengine. Sitashangaa kama hawatakuwamo kwenye dili hili la uchakachuaji. Nshawaambia siku nyingi, hawa fisi wanatumiwa na wakubwa wasiotaka mambo yao yajulikane ingawa yanajulikana.”
“Hapa najua unayemlenga. Lazima jamaa atakuwa anakula nao hasa ikizingatiwa kuwa ndiye aliyewezesha kuingia kwa balaa hili kayani.”
Kijiwe kikiwa kinanoga si mashabiki wa timu za mpira wakaja na fujo zao wakidai wanashangilia ushindi wakati wengi si mashabiki kitu bali vibaka. Kuepuka kuwashushia kichapo tuliamua kujiondokea tukishangaa wanavyoweza kushangilia mipira wakashindwa kutumia usongo huo kuwabana mafisadi.

Andamaneni kumshawishi Lowassa asigombee

          Baada ya baadhi ya wanasiasa kuanzisha “usanii” wa kuwanunua wale baadhi ya wanasiasa wamewaita wachovu na wachumia tumbo kujifanya wanaandamana kuwashawishi wagombee urais, nimeijiwa na wazo mbadala. Je wanaweza  kujitokeza wananchi wenye uchungu na nchi wakaandamana kwenda kwa wahusika kuwataka wasigombee kwa vile hawafai na kama wanafaa kwanini wasifuate utaratibu wa kawaida wa kutamka wenyewe bila kudengua kuwa wameshawishiwa wakati wanautaka urais kwa udi na uvumba?
Hivi karibuni, mbunge wa Monduli Edward Lowassa –waziri mkuu aliyelazimika kuachia ngazi tokana na kuhusishwa kwenye ya Richmond –alitoa mpya. Alionekana akiwa na makundi ya walioitwa “mashehe wa Bagamoyo” japo wenzao waliwakana. Baadaye, alionekana na kundi lililojiita wanafunzi wa vyuo vikuu. Wengi walishangaa wahusika walivyopatikana au kuchaguliwa kwenda kufanya kazi chafu na ya kuwadhalilisha ukiachia mbali kukiuka kanuni. Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) –kuchelea madhara yanayoweza kukikumba kutokana na mchezo huu –kilipiga stopu sanaa hii ambayo nayo itashindwa muda si mrefu. Je kweli wahusika wanapendwa hivyo au ni “pochi” lao? Je wahusika –watumiaji na watumiwa –wanapendana au ni kutumiana tu? Je rais anayetokana na ghilba kama hii anaweza kulifaa taifa hasa wakati huu linapohiji mtu safi, mchapakazi, mzalendo ili alitoe kwenye uoza na udhalili lililomo?
Tunadhani kiongozi anayewatumia wenzake kufikia malengo fichi hatufai; hana sera wala ajenda kwa ajili ya taifa. Kama anaweza kuwatumia waroho wachache akafanikiwa, si atalitumia taifa kwa faida zake fichi? Wengi wanashangaa kwanini Lowassa anapoteza muda kuwanunua watu wa kujifanya wanamuunga mkono na kumtaka awe rais kujibu tuhuma lukuki za ufisadi na kujilimbikizia mali nyingi kinyume cha sheria na maadili ambazo zimemkabili kwa miaka mingi?
Wengi wangedhani: Lowassa angejisafisha bila kutumia mbinu ya kukusanya wachovu kuonyesha anapendwa ingeingia akilini zaidi. Je hawa wanaoonekana kwenye picha na Lowassa ni nani? Mbunge wa Bumbuli (CCM) Januari Makamba analo jibu kama alivyokaririwa na vyombo vya habari akisema, “Huu utaratibu wa kuratibu watu, kuwasafirisha, kuwapa posho na ubwabwa waje kukuomba kugombea ni michezo ya kuigiza ambayo ni aibu kubwa.” Makamba anamaanisha kuwa Lowassa aliwahonga na kuwanunua wahusika madai ambayo hayajakanusha.
Makamba aliongeza, “Ni aibu sana kutumia shida na njaa za watu kisiasa. Ni aibu sana kukusanya vijana na wazee wa watu na kuwapangia viti na mahema na kuwapa pesa na kuwapiga picha. Ukiona mtu anatafuta nafasi ya uongozi kwa ujanja na ulaghai, ujue atatawala kwa ujanja na ulaghai.” Makamba anamwonyesha mhusika kama mtu mlaghai asiyefaa kuwa rais ajaye wa Tanzania. Kwa vile Makamba ni mgombea aliyekwisha taja wazi –bila “kushawishiwa” kuwa angependa agombee urais, anaweza kuchukuliwa kama mshindani wa Lowassa. Je tukimpima Lowassa tunapata nini? Wengi wangependa kujua mantiki ya Lowassa –mfano –kuendelea kulipwa posho na marupurupu ya kustaafu uwaziri mkuu wakati hakufanya hivyo. Je huu si ulaghai ukiachia mbali kuwa uhujumu wa taifa? Inakuwaje huyu anayejifanya anapendwa na ana uchungu na taifa hakuona hili kuwa ni kulihujumu taifa? Nadhani hili ni kosa na kasoro kubwa inayotosha kufanya hata chama chake kisimpitishe. Lakini chama chake kitalionaje hili wakati ndicho kinachounda serikali tawala iliyoridhia wizi huu wa mchana wa fedha ya mlipa kodi?  Wapo wanajiuliza: Kwani lazima Lowassa; watanzania wengine wenye sifa na udhu wamekwisha? Kwanini Lowassa anakimbilia Ikulu badala ya kujisafisha? Tunakumbuka maneno ya baba wa taifa Marehemu Mwl Julius Nyerere kuwa tuwaogopeni wanaokimbilia ikulu. Kwani ikulu ni patakatifu pa patakatifu pasipohitaji kukaliwa na watu wachafu, walaghai na wasaka tonge.
Wengi wanashangaa anapopata jeuri Lowassa ya kutaka agombee urais wakati alipaswa kufunguliwa mashtaka kwa kulihujumu taifa kupitia kashfa ya Richmond? Ushahidi? Kitendo chake cha kujiuzulu ni ushahidi tosha kuwa alishiriki kikamilifu katika kulihujumu taifa. Je rais anayeweza kulihujumu taifa tena bila kuwa rais, akiwa rais atalifanya nini? Tieni akili ili baadaye msijejuta na kuchekwa kwa kushindwa kuyapima na kuyatathimini haya. Kwa ufupi, rais atokanaye na kushawishiwa na watu aliowanunua –kwa njaa zao kam alivyodai Makamba –hatufai kama taifa lililomo msambweni likitaka mtu safi na madhubuti wa kuliondoa kwenye uoza na uovu lilimo.
Wakati wa kumwambia Lowassa kuwa aache “maigizo’ kama alivyomtaka mwenzake umefika. Kwa vile ameishaambiwa na kuonywa na wenzake tena wanachama wa chama chake, basi tusisitize na kuongeza  hapo kwa kumtaka Lowassa aache dhihaka na matusi ya nguoni na kuwatumia watu wenye njaa kwa ajenda zake za kisiasa. Hata hivyo, inachekesha kidogo; ikizingatiwa kuwa Lowassa alitangaza nia zaidi ya mwaka uliopita. Sijui hawa “wanaomshawishi” agombee walikuwa wapi na wana mantiki gani wakati mhusika alishafanya hivyo muda mrefu kiasi cha kupewa hata adhabu na chama chake? Walikwina? Au ndiyo kujikanganya na usanii wenyewe anaosema Makamba?  Kam ainawezekana kuandamana kumshawishi Lowassa agombee basi inawezekana kufanya hivyo kumtaka asigombee. Je kwanini wananchi wasiandamane kumtaka Lowassa asigombee?

Rais ameanzisha vurugu za ardhi nchini

          Kitendo cha rais Jakaya Kikwete kutwaa shamba la Galapo mkoani Manyara kimechochea sintofahamu nchini kuhusiana na sera ya ardhi. Baada ya rais kutoa amri ya kugawiwa kwa wananchi shamba husika baada ya kufuta hati ya umilki wa shamba toka kwa mwekezaji ambaye hakutajwa, wananchi wa wilaya ya Arumeru walimpa siku saba mwekezaji mwingine wa shamba la Karamu Cofee Estate kuwa ameachia shamba vinginevyo watalivamia na kugawana. Huu si ujumebe mzuri. Wananchi wameamshwa na kugundua kuwa kumbe hawana haja ya kuteseka na kuishi bila ardhi kwenye nchi yao huku watu wachache waroho wakijilimbikizia ardhi bila kujali wengine. Tunatamani hatua hii isiishie kwa wawekezaji tu. Iguse hata ardhi ya viongozi waroho waliojilimbikizia ardhi nchini mahali popote zilipo. Kwanini kutwaa mashamba ya wawekezaji wakati yapo mengine ya viongozi? Kama ni kutenda haki basi itendeke kwa wote bila ubaguzi. Hata ardhi zinazomilikiwa na Chama Cha Mapinduzi sehemu mbali mbali nchini zitwaliwe na wananchi wasio na ardhi au wenye ardhi pungufu.
Hii maana yake ni kwamba rais amekurupuka. Ili kuepuka vurugu na hata maafa yanayoweza kutokea wakati wa utwaaji wa mashamba – ambao bila shaka utarudufiwa nchini –alipaswa kufanya utafiti wa kina na kuchukua hatua. Mfano, alipaswa kuanisha ni mashamba mangapi yako wapi na yana ukubwa kiasi gani. Pia angefanya utafiti kuhusiana na hali ya mashamba na wapi sheria ilikiukwa pamoja na kujua idadi ya watu wasio na ardhi ndipo atangaze. Sasa kwa kukurupuka huku, atapata kibarua kingine cha kutumia nguvu ya dola kuzuia utwaliwaji wa mashamba husika.
 Inasikitisha kuona rais anafanya mambo bila kufanya utafiti kiasi cha kuweza kuwa chanzo cha vurugu huko tuendako. Pia rais, angepaswa ajue waliovunja sheria na kutoa mashamba husika au walioyatwaa, kuyanunua au kuyamilki bila kuyaendeleza. Bila kufanya hivyo –tutake tusitake –rais ataanzisha vurugu bila sababu na hiyo vurugu hataikomesha bila kuleta madhara kwa wananchi husika.
Pia tungeshauri itungwe sera maalumu na madhubuti ya kuepusha kurudiwa kwa vitendo vya uporaji na umilki wa ardhi kinyume cha sheria. Bila kuwa na sera maalumu, vurugu zitaongezeka. Kisa cha Arumeru kinatukumbusha kisa kingine kilichotokea tarehe 17 Desemba 2013 katika eneo la mlima wa Kanyama, Kisesa huko Mwanza ambapo mwenyekiti wa zamani wa CCM wa mkoa wa Mwanza, Clement Mabina aliuawa kwa kupigwa mawe baada ya kumjeruhi kumpiga risasi mwananchi wakati wa kugombea eneo alilokuwa ametwaa Mabina. Je kuna Mabina wangapi waliojimilkisha ardhi ya umma nchini?
Mwaka juzi wananchi wa wilaya moja mkoani Kagera walikuwa wakilalamikia mbunge wao kujitwalia eneo kubwa la ardhi wilayani humo. Je wananchi hawa wakiona wenzao wa mikoa mingine wanavyofanya, watashindwa kujitwalia ardhi husika hasa ikizingatiwa ukweli kuwa wanajua walidhulumiwa ardhi yao?
Pamoja na hatua nzuri ya rais, kunatakiwa kuwepo mipango mizuri na ya kudumu si kwa ajili ya kuzuia kurudiwa kwa makosa husika bali kuwezesha ardhi husika kugawiwa kwa wananchi bila kuwepo vurugu, vitisho wala uvunjaji sheria. Japo tunaweza kulichukulia suala hili kama jambo la kawaida, si la kawaida hasa ikizingatiwa watu wetu wanavyoishi kama wakimbizi kwenye nchi yao huku wenye fedha na madaraka wakiwadhulumu mchana kweupe.
Uwepo wa sera madhubuti ya ardhi licha ya kutenda haki, utaepusha maafa yatokanayo na ugomvi wa ardhi nchini. Inashangaza kuwa wakati wa awamu ya kwanza ambapo kujitwalia mali ya umma ilikuwa mwiko na aliyefanya hivyo alichukuliwa hatua za kisheria hapo hapo hatukuwa na matukio kama haya. Kwanini tusirejeshe utaratibu uliotumika wakati huo kuepusha vurugu na migogoro ya ardhi.
Kwa sasa yamekuwa yakiripotiwa matukio mengi ya uvunjaji amani na hata kusababisha mauti yatokanayo na migogoro ya ardhi.  Hatuwezi kuendelea hivi. Inapotokea migogoro, licha ya kuruga amani, inasababisha kusimama kwa uzalishaji jambo ambalo linaathiri taifa kiuchumi hata kijamii ingawa wengi hawalioni hivi. Inapotekea mwananchi akauawa au kuua kutokana na ugomvi wa ardhi, si taifa tu linaloathirika tu, hata familia za wahusika zinaathirika kiasi kikubwa.
Zamani tulikuwa tukiwacheka majirani zetu wa Kenya na Malawi kwa kuishi bila ardhi kwenye nchi zao bila kujua kuwa kumbe hili litatufika siku si nyingi. Sasa hivi, hatuna cha kuwacheka. Kwani kuna watanzania wengi wanaishi bila ardhi na kama wanayo basi haitoshi. Kwa nchi kubwa yenye ardhi ya kutosha kinachogomba si ukosefu wa ardhi bali sera madhubuti ya uthibiti na ugawaji ardhi. Hivyo, kama tutakuwa makini, uwezekano wa kila mtanzania kupata ardhi inayomtosha ni mkubwa. Haiwezekani tukaribishe wakimbizi kwa malaki toka nchi jirani na kuwapa ardhi wakati watu wetu hawana ardhi ya kutosha. Fadhila huanzia nyumbani. Hatumaanishi kuwa tusiwape wakimbizi ardhi. Tunapaswa kuwapa watu wetu kwanza na kitakachobaki basi wafikiriwe hao wakimbizi. Pia tusiishie hapa. Tuwe na mipango ya kuwa na ardhi ya akiba kwa wengine watakaozaliwa ili kuepuka kuwa na watu wasiozalisha wala kujitegemea kwa vile hawana ardhi. Nchi yetu bado inategemea kilimo kama uti wa mgongo wa taifa. Je huu uti wa mgongo utafanyeje kazi bila wananchi kuwa na ardhi ya kutosha?
Chonde chonde rais na serikali yako, unda sera ya ardhi na mhakikishe kila mwananchi anapata ardhi ili aweza kuzalisha chakula cha kujikimu na kuuza kwa faida yake binafsi na taifa kwa ujumla. Chonde rais usianzishe vurugu hata kama hukukusudia kufanya hivyo.

Tazama naona kaya inayoliwa kama karatasi mbele ya mchwa. Naona malaika mkuu akishuka na kusema nami akinitaka nipeleke habari hii njema kwa waja wake wanaodhulumiwa na wajinga na wahalifu waliojivika vyeo vikubwa na vitukufu wakifanya ukufu na makufuru ya kuwaibia na kuwaacha makapuku. Malaika anasema nami, “Nena usiogope Nabii wa Mungu Mlevi mwana wa Mvuta Bangi mjukuu wa mzee Fyatu wa Fyatua.
Tazama naona fisi, mbweha na chui waliovaa ngozi ya kondoo wakitangaza kutenda miujiza wakati si miujiza kitu bali mazingaombwe usanii na wizi wa mchana. Naona maiti waliovishwa vito vya thamani wakisimama mimbarini na kuhubiri neno wakati nyuma yake kumjeaa meno ya kuwararua kondoo wa Bwana kwa kudai wamtolee Bwana wakati wanaotolewa si Bwana bali mbwa hawa. Naona maiti wanaonuka na kuoza wakihuburi utukufu wakati ukweli ni kwamba wao ni wafu tena waliokufa zamani nyoyo zao zikiliwa na tamaa ya utajiri na ujambazi wa mchana uitwao usanii. Nawaona wakisema uongo mchana baada ya kujipachika utafiti wakidai wamesoma hata kutunga vitabu wakati ukweli ni kwamba wametunga uongo tokana na tamaa ujinga na upogo wao. 
Malaika alinionyesha kituko. Aliniambia, “Tazama wale wajinga na wapumbavu wanavyokamuliwa na hawa kupe waliojificha nyuma ya utukufu wakati ni utukutu na usanii mtupu. Tazama wanavyoshangilia wakiamini utapeli na upuuzi kana kwamba hawana ubongo wala akili. Tazama walivyo maskini wakimtajirisha matapeli wajisifuye kuwa wanazo wakati wanawaibia kwa sababu ya utapia mlo wa vichwa na roho zao. Leo mnaambiwa mpande mbegu. Kesho wataambiwa wamtolee Bwana kana kwamba Bwana ni maskini na anahitaji madafu yao. Kesho kutwa wapumbavu na vipofu hawa wataambiwa walete minofu na mifupa ya mazeruzeru na watafanya hivyo.”
Namuuliza Malaika. “Hii maana yake nini? Anajibu. “Hii ni kaya iliyotawaliwa na ujinga, upumbavu, uroho na roho mtakakitu ambapo wataka kitu hutumia roho mtakatifu kuwaibia watakakitu kwa kuwadangaya kuwa wana roho mtakatifu. Kwa ufupi ni kwamba kinachofanyika hapa ni wafu wawili kukokotana kila mfu akidhani atafikia malengo yake kwa kumtumia mwenzake ingawa unaweza kuona nani anawatumia kwa kuwala wenzake.”
Sikumuelewa malaika. Hivyo, niliuliza, “Kama wote wameoza na wanatumiana mbona kuna anayenufaika na wapo wanaoumia?” Malaika alijibu, “Umeona na kunena vyema. Fisi anawafaidi wanakondoo walioponzwa na ukondoo na upogo wao. Wanampa fedha anawapa ahadi. Wanamsikiliza hawasikilizi. Wanamuita kiongozi na mchungaji wasijue ni mchunaji. Hivyo, katika wafu hawa wawili wanaokokotana hakuna mwenye nafuu. Huyu anayewala wenzake ataliwa siku si nyingi. Akibanwa kidogo anazimia hata kuchanganyikiwa. Je siku akifanyiwa kweli itakuwaje?”
Baada ya kumaliza kuuliza, malaika aliinua macho yake juu na kusema maneno ambayo sikuyaelewa na kusema, “Basi nenda kwambie walevi kuwa wawe macho na matapeli wanaojivisha utukufu wakati si chochote bali utukutu na uroho na uchovyo kuwaibia maskini kwa jina la Bwana. Bwana ahitaji madafu yenu. Mnaliwa kwa jina la Bwana. Hakuna cha Bwana wala Bibi bali hao matapeli wenyewe.”
 Baada ya kuyasema hayo mbingu zilifunguka nikaona wadudu wa kutisha wakitoka kwenye mwili wa yule anayewahadaa wenzake kuwa anaweza kufanya miujiza wasijue ameoza na hana lolote bali kuwachezea mahepe. Nilimuona akipewa adhabu si ya kawaida. Akiwa ameshika ukuta akipewa maagizo na shetani kuendelea kuwakamua kondoo, aliinama kwa unyenyekevu akaendelea kupokea maagizo.
Ndipo malaika mkuu akasema, “Nenda kawambie walevi waache upumbavu. Wataliwa wanajiona na fisi anayeshikishwa ukuta na kutii kila upambavu ili kutimiza kiu ya upumbavu na ujinga wake.”
Alinigeukia na kusema, “Nenda kawambie walevi hivi, wapendwa walevi, kama mtajiamini na kuchukua tahadhari hamtachunwa na mafisi na maiti waliojivisha utukufu wakiogelea kwenye ukwasi utokanao na ujinga na uvivu wenu wa kutegemea miujiza badala ya kuchapa kazi. Mnaamini rongorongo za nilifanya hiki na kile bila kutafuta ushahidi. Mtaendelea kuliwa na kugeuzwa majuha, kengeukeni kabla ya kuendelea kuingizwa mkenge.”
Tazama mbingu zinafunguka na wanatokea fisi na mbwa wanaojivisha utukufu wakijipa vyeo vitukufu. Wananuka, nyuso zao zinatisha na wakipumua inatoka harufu ya kutisha. Vifua vyao vinafunguka naona mioyo iliyooza ikitokwa na wadudu kila aina. Harufu itokayo humo inafanya nikaribie kuzimia.  Namgeukia malaika mkuu na kusema, “Nini maana ya haya?” Anasema. “Harufu ni alama ya uongo na uoza ni alama ya ufisadi.  Nyuso ni alama ya kinachowangojea siku yao ikitimu. Kutoa harufu ya kutisha nyoyo zao ni alama ya wasi wasi presha na mfadhaiko wanaoupata baada ya kutoka kwenye mimbari wakihubiri utapeli na ujinga wao.
Baada ya kujibu maswali yangu mara mbingu zinafunguka tena. Naona majina yakipita kwenye ubao mkubwa ung’aao mithili ya uso wa kompyuta.

Forget IpTL and Escrow there’s PAP

As a hunk, we've a problem, gargantuan one. It started when some greedy, ruthless and uncouth folks – among us –turned their colleague Danganyikans into fair game for their mania, ignorance and idiocy. After finding that boozers have easily forgotten escrow and the humongous amount of dosh it sunk not to mention vijisenti in Jersey Island and other offshore banks, I decided to form a new company that will this time do positive things.  I've formed Protecting Albino Project (PAP) to see to it that we squeeze the powers that be to protect albinos in the hunk.  I’ll give them a heck of time without bothering if they’ll be cross with me. Again, please don’t confuse my PAP with the one Harbinger Shit Singa uses to rob your banks in conjunction with some top guys in the upper echelons of power. My PAP should not be associated with IPTL or International Purloiners of Tanzia Limited.
My PAP will bring security and, possibly, a titter to albinos. It seeks in redressing the hunk by turning things around after it became a laughing stock for not stopping this madness. Our hunk’s now renowned as a killing field for people with albinism. Our good name’s long gone while our monarchs are laughing. We’re looked at as killers if not ogres. PAP’ll embark on campaigns aimed at addressing some anomalies such as using albinos abusively like the thingification them namely turning them into things or objects any properly criminal can get and deliver to con men and women known as witch doctors who dupe them that they can use albinos’ body parts to make them rich while it is a hoax. I hate those who goad God by riding on other human beings instead of riding donkeys.  Also, we will seek to abolish politicians calling albinos for a banter and photo ops in their offices to show that they care about them while they actually are behind their miseries due to their corruption and nihilism.      
 We will seek to restore Code of Ethic (CoE) in the hunk. This move will discourage hyena-like- dosh seekers whom witch doctors and other gullible criminals dupe making them believe that albinos’ parts can bring fortune to them, and thus, become tycoons without working or thinking hard. Today you’re killing albinos so as to become rich. Tomorrow you’ll be told to kill your own mothers to become rich. In the end you’ll end up committing suicide after finding that con men and women have conned you and destroyed your life because of your greed and narrow-mindedness. Again, since the powers that be became good players in graft, who’ll take on whom? We need to make sure that everybody declares wealth and the way the said wealth was gained.
 We need to tell the powers that be that they are the ones who encourage such diabolic killings due to the fact that they rob boozers and spend like crazy so as to encourage every goon to want to become rich easily even without using his or he brain but bum. We can’t go on with such venality in the hunk.
Another thing we are intending to do is tell those who want quick dosh to go to TANESCO and enter agreement of supplying power just like IpTL and Rugemalayer’s  Very Endangered Property (VEP) did. After they enter the agreement, they’ll proceed to the Bank of Thugs (BoT) with their bags and scoop dosh as easy as that instead of shedding the blood of innocent people. We better sacrifice TanesCO to save people with albinism.
We also will advise those that seeking to become rich without thinking or toiling to run for political positions or form their religious sects instead of killing innocent people. It doesn't help save that it helps those con men and women to violate you just because you’re ruthless, uncouth, greed, stupid and properly rubbish and inhuman.  Those killing albinos are no different from one-eyed-googly creatures that got human faces accidentally. I love human rights. Again, when it comes to such orgies, I pay no hoot if they’re treated like Lucifer himself or pigs before the hang man. How can you treat otherworldly humans like humans?  If our hank had gullible rulers who keep animals like lions while their people starve, you just throw them to the den so that the can be devoured by lions and tigers. What adds twangs and pains is the fact that when suchlazy, good-for-nothing and grandiloquent make bomb, pretend to be humans while they are but pooches.

In a nutshell, I've formed PAP to help people with albinism to escape from stupidly and blindly imposed death sentence by our all-time corrupt regime. Therefore, I seek your support to save these innocent brethren suffering from the venality and double standards of their greedy rulers.  So, please join me to do a sacred work of saving the lives of our brethren from the dirty hands of googly rulers and their cronies and stooges who have taken our hunk for a ride. By the way, what’ll happen shall shamans tell their slaves to bring the bones of politicos or their loved ones?

Tokana na shmbulizi la kikaitili na kipumbaavu lilotokea nchini Kenya, Kijiwe kimegundua baadhi ya sababu za wale wajinga na vihiyo wanaitwa wasomi kushiriki ushenzi na jinai hii.
Mpemba leo ndiyo kafungua dimba. Anaweka vizuri saluni au msuli kwa lugha rahisi na kuchonga, “Yakhe mmesikia hili shambulio la kishenzi na kitwahuti lilotokea kule Kenya? Wallahi lasikitisha sana ati.”
Mgosi Machungi anadakia, “Hakuna kiichotishangaza kama wasomi kushiiki ushenzi huu. Hivi kwei hawa ni wasomi kwei au vihiyo wanaoitwa wasomi?”
Mijjinga akiwa anasogeza gazeti mezani vizuri anakwapua mic na kusema, “Nadhani ni makosa kuwalaumu hawa wauawaji tuliodhani ni wasomi wakati si wasomi kitu bali vihiyo kama anavyosema Mgosi. Tulaumu mfumo mbovu wa elimu nchi za kimakonde ziliorithi kwa wakoloni.”
 Anakunywa kahawa kidogo na kuendelea, “inabidi tchunguze mfumo wetu wa elimu. Maana haiwezekani msomi wa kweli akarubuniwa na ahadi za kijinga akaamua kuua watu bila sababu kama ilivyotokea Kenya.”
Kabla ya kuendelea Kapende anachomekea, “Usishangae hawa wasomi uchwara walioua kule Kenya, kwani wana tofauti gani na hawa vilaza waliojazana maofisini walioghushi hadi udaktari wa falsafa?”
Mzee Maneno anachomekea, “ Usemayo shehe ni ya kweli. Nasikia jamaa waliwahonga ndata wakapitisha mzigo wa kwenda kuulia watu.”
Msomi Mkatatamaa anachukua mic kwa madaha na kudema, “Nakubaliana na alhaj Kapende kuwa hawa hawana tofauti na wahalifu waliojazana maofisini, mipakani, viwanja vya ndege na kwingineko nyeti. Kama wanaruhusu bwimbwi na  vipodozi na madawa feki kupita watashindwa kuruhusu silaha? Kama wanaruhusu mauaji ya walemavu wa ngozi, faru na tembo hata wengine kushiriki kuwasafirisha wakiwa hai watakataa fedha? Wao wanajali nini? Siku hizi watu wanaweza kuwauza hata mama zao ilmradi wapewe fedha utadhani watakufa nayo.”
Mbwa mwitu anachomekea, “Uliona wale vigori waliotaka kwenda Syria tena naambiwa wasomi? Vigori au masharmutah wanatafuta mabwana hao baada ya kuchemsha huku. Wanaweza kuwa vyangudoa wanaotumia dini kutafuta malaya wenzao.”
Anaendelea, “Pia kuna haja ya kuchunguza baadhi ya ahadi za ngono na upuuzi mwingine vinavyovutia vijana wetu vihiyo na wavivu wa kufikiri.”
Mipawa anakula mic, “Unataka kusema waliponzwa na ngono hadi wakaamini kila bangi siyo?”
Mbwamwitu anajibu, “Nani asiyependa kanchezo hako?”
Mijjinga anarejea, “Hata hivyo mimi siwashangai. Hawana tofauti na mafisadi wanaoua watu kwa umaskini sema tofauti ni kwamba wahanga wa ufisadi wanakufa taratibu tofauti na hawa wanaoua kwa ghafla.”
Anaendelea, “Umenikumbusha yule habithi madevu aliyekuwa akiwahadaa wapumbavu eti wamfie God wakati yeye alikuwa amejificha Abbotabad na manzi zake akijifua.”
Mpemba anakatua mic, “Yakhe ukisikia unafiki ndiyo huu. Hivi kweli mwanadamu anaweza kumpigania Mungu ambaye hafi wala haonekani au ni bangi na ujinga vinawasumbua?”
Kapende anajibu, “Unashangaa mwanadamu kumfia Mungu siyo? Mbona wapo wengi hasa wachunaji wametokea kuwa mabilioni hadi wengine kununua vyopa kwa kuwahadaa wajinga eti wamtolee Mungu utadhani Mungu kapuku anayeshobokea madafu machafu ya Bongo.”
Mipawa anakula mic, “Hapa umenena. Ujinga ni mzigo na wajinga ndiyo waliwao. Ukishobokea upuuzi wanakutumia. Ukiwa hamnazo ukaamini kila upuuzi utaumia na kuumiza wenzako.”

Mbwa Mwitu anamchomekea Sofi“Dada Sofi umeingiliwa na nini dadangu? Yaani pamoja na mauaji yote haya ya kikatili na kishirikina ya ndugu zetu bado hujaona ushirikina wa kimfumo?”
Mijjinga anachomekea, “Unandhani wangekuwa wanaua watawala wangeua hata wawili kabla ya ndata kuingilia kati?”
Msomi anawapa tafu Mbwamwitu na Mijjinga, “Msemayo ni kweli. Ukiona huu ushenzi unaendelea jua kuna namana wakubwa wanavyonufaika hasa ikizingatiwa kuwa wakati wa uchakachuaji huwa tunawaona wanavyoshindana kwenda Bwagamoyo kufanya ushirikina ukiachia mbali kurhusu matapeli kutangaza upuuzi huu wazi wazi hata kwenye vyombo vya habari.”
Kanji aliyekuwa akiongoea na bi mkubwa wake Kastuli huko Bombay anaamua kutia guu, “Mimi shangaa sana. Vatu nakosa utu naua hata toto ya shule!  Om sai ram.naombea dua ile toto nauawa Kenya. Kama gaidi nazidi kamata chinja yote kama nafanya kule Bombei. Ile napanga fanya gaidi taogopa sana.”
Mzee Ndevu anachumokea,“Nasikia na jamaa yetu big huwa ana kigagula ambaye huwa habanduki kwenye debe kila aendako.”
Mpemba anajibu,“Utegemea ni unapotawaliwa na vihiyo na viherehere?”
Mbwa mwitu anachomekea tena, “Kaka hapo umeua. Umetumbua kwenyewe. Kumbe chanzo siyo hawa wajinga wajinga wadogo wadogo bali wale wakubwa wakubwa siyo?”

Viongozi wa kiroho waroho na matajiri wachunguzwe

Wimbi la viongozi waroho wa kiroho kutokea kuwa matajiri wa kutisha inatia shaka.  Hali imefanya wengi kuona umuhimu wa serikali kuwachunguza hata kufuta misamaha ya kodi wanayopewa wakaitumia kujitajirisha binafsi. Haiwezekani mtu anayefanya kazi ya kuhubiri tu anunue helkopta kwa mfano kusiwe na namna. Wapo waliojitahidi kutetea uoza huu kwa kusema kuwa baadhi ya wahusika wanapata sadaka ipatayo shilingi za kitanzania zaidi ya milioni 500. Ukichunguza mali walizo nazo, matumizi, matanuzi na utapanyaji wao na muda ambapo walianza biashara yao hii ya uroho mtakatitu, hupati jibu wala hakuna uhusiano. Hata kama ingekuwa hivyo, kwanini watu wachache wawatumie wengi kitapeli na kujinufaisha huku wakifaidi misamaha ya kodi?
Wengi wanashangaa kusikia kuwa taasisi za kidini ziondolewa misamaha wasijue hii misamaha imetokana na serikali za ukoloni zilizokuwa zikitumia dini kama vyombo vyake vya upelelezi. Nadhani watanzania wanahitaji huduma bora kuliko dini. Je hawa wasio na dini za kimamboleo si wanaibiwa kwa kuruhusu misamaha isiyokuwa na sababu wala ulazima? Ni kipi cha mno hizi dini nyemelezi zinacho kustahiki kupewa misamaha ya kodi? Nadhani watanzania wanahitaji mkate kabla ya neno. Hivyo, kila anayefanya biashara au shughuli ziwe za kiroho au kutoa huduma lazima alipishwe kodi vilivyo.
Kuendelea kusamehe kodi madhehebu ya dini kumetengeneza matajiri wa kutisha wakati serikali na watanzania wakiendela kuwa maskini wa kutupwa. Wakati wengine wakimilki ndege binafsi na majumba ya kutisha, serikali yetu inashindwa kuendesha shirika lake la ndege. Watanzania wanaokamuliwa wanaendelea kuhangaika huku matapeli wachache walioruhusiwa kufanya jinai yao tokana na uzembe wa mamlaka wakiendelea kutesa. Siwezi kushangaa kukuta mabilionea wengi wa kidini wakiwa hata nyuma ya biashara haramu ya mihadarati ukiachia mbali kutumia misamaha ya kodi kufanya biashara nyuma ya pazia.
Kwanza, inashangaza wanaopata huu mfano wa kuwa matajiri wakati Yesu wanayedai kumhubiri alikuwa maskini wa kutupwa. Wanadhani kuwa kama Yesu angetaka utajiri angeshindwa kuupata? Lakini aliukataa kwa kuogopa kuwaibia wafuasi wake na watu wasio na hatia.
Inashangaza kuona na mamlaka zetu zinaendelea kufanya mambo kizamani na kwa mazoea. Huwezi kumwacha mtu anayetembelea ndege binafsi au magari ya bei mbaya kama Hummer na Humvee aishi bila kulipia kodi vitu hivyo. Hapa Kanada anapoishi mwandishi, ukinunua kitu cha starehe au kisicho cha lazima kama magari, mahekalu hata mavazi ya bei mbaya, unatozwa kodi kweli kweli ili kodi hiyo kupelekwa kwenye huduma za lazima za jamii kwa wananchi. Inashangaza serikali inayoombaomba inavyoweza kushuhudia matapeli wachache wakiwachuna watanzania na kutokea kuwa matajiri wa kutosha huku nchi yao ikiendelea kusuasua.
Pamoja na kushuku utajiri wa haraka tukiwasakama wauza unga, washirikina wanaoua mazeruzeru ili kupata utajiri wa haraka, tunapaswa kuwageukia wanaojiita viongozi wa kiroho ambao wanaonyesha kuwa viongozi wenye uroho na si viongozi wa kiroho. Inawezekanaje mtu alale kwenye jumba la mamilioni wakati wale anaowakamua wanatembea kwa miguu asiwe fisadi hata kama anajifanya kutangaza neno la Mungu? Kimsingi, hawa hawana tofauti na waganga wa kienyeji wanaowadhalilisha na kuwaibia watu wetu maskini na wajinga na washirikina ambao wanaamini kuwa matatizo yao yanaweza kutatuliwa kwa maombi na miujiza badala ya kujituma na kuchapa kazi kwa juhudi na maarifa.
Ujinga kweli ni mzigo. Inakuwaje watu wanaodanganywa na matapeli kuwa wanaweza kuwaombea au kuwapa dawa ya utajiri wanawatakisha fedha wasijitendee hiyo miujiza na kupata hiyo fedha wanayotaka watoe?
Tunapaswa kujifunza kitu kimoja kuwa kwenye masuala ya fedha na uchumi hakuna kuaminiana wala kubebana kama ilivyo kwa mataifa ya kiafrika ambayo bado yanapoteza fedha nyingi kwa kusamehe kodi kwa madhehebu ya kidini na NGO ambazo mwisho wa siku hutumia vibaya fursa hii kwa wahusika kujitajirisha. Kama siyo ufisadi wa viongozi wetu wa juu, ni rahisi kupambana na waovu hawa. Kwani, kutokana na ulimbukeni na wakati mwingine ujinga wao, hawafichi hata huo utajiri wao. Wanafanya hivyo, ima kwa kujua wazi kuwa mfumo unaotawala una udhaifu au kwa vile wanakula na wakubwa.
Hatuwezi kuendelea na ujinga huu tukafika mbali kama taifa. Lazima kila mtanzania bila kujali cheo wala itikadi yake atangaze alivyopata utajiri wake. Lazima serikali zitoke usingizini ziwabane wananchi wote walipe kodi badala ya kuruhusu taifa kuwa shamba la bibi ambako matapeli wa nje na ndani hutumia na kujitajirisha huku watu wetu wakiendelea kuteseka na umaskini. Kama tutakuwa makini na wasioendekeza ujinga tukawa wakali vya kutosha, hatuna haja ya kwenda nje kujidhalilisha kuombaomba. Sijawahi kuona mchungaji au askofu au waziri hapa Kanada akiendeshe Hummer au kuwa na ndege yake binafsi asiandamwe akaeleza alivyopata utajiri wake.
Sheria ya Kanada inatamka wazi kuwa yeyote anayeishi kwenye nchi hii awe raia au mgeni lazima kila mwisho wa kazi ajaze fomu za marejesho ya kodi. Hili linafanyika kwa wakanada na wageni hata wafanyabiashara na madhehebu ya dini ili serikali kuweza kukadiria mapato na matumizi yake. Tanzania nani afanye hivyo wakati wakubwa ndiyo wanaongoza kukwepa kodi na kushirikiana na matapeli kuhujumu taifa?

Inatosha kuzitaka mamlaka za Tanzania kubadili mfumo na tabia zake dhidi ya madhehebu ya dini hasa haya ya kuzuka zuka na viongozi wake kujipachika vyeo vikubwa vila kuvisomea wala kustahili. Imetosha. Wote wenye ukwasi unaotia shaka wabanwe waeleze walivyoupata wakishindwa au kugunduliwa kuwa waliupata kwa kuwatapeli, kuwahadaa au kinyume cha sheria na utaratibu wafilisiwe.

Jonathan lost even before election

          Nigeria’s outgoing president Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan had no good luck this time around. Many political strategists and analysts knew it too well that he’d not survive in the just ended general elections in which he’s defeated by former military ruler, Gen Mohammad Ashraf Buhari. This was the fourth times for Buhari to have taken a shot on presidency.Buhari garnered 15.4 million votes against 13.3 million that Jonathan got. After the results were announced, Jonathan conceded defeat and he congratulated Buhari.
Due to what’s been going on under Jonathan –any politician, even scraggy one –would have taken him down easily. Two things seem to attract, and worry voters in the just ended Nigerian general elections, security and corruption. As Nigerians went to polls, they were not sure if the elections would be peacefully and free and fair thanks to oft-disruptions by Boko Haram.  As if this wasn’t enough, Jonathan went to elections with allegations of corruption hovering over his head.  In spite of normal and endemic corruption allegations involving government officials–which are a normal thing in Nigeria–former Central Bank Governor, Lamido Sanussi, the current emir of Kano, dropped a bombshell alleging that over $ 20Bn was missing from the treasury. This dinting revelation really hit Jonathan had. Ironically, Jonathan’s government didn’t mount any defence. Nor did it offer any expiations save to fire Lamido. Circumstantially, this was construed by the electorate as being genuine and true allegation that the government was behind this mammoth theft.
 If there’s the straw that broke the camel’s back is none other than Boko Haram’s oft-gains and assaults culminating in abducting 276 school girls from Chibok High school a year ago. Many thought the government would bring them back timely to no avail despite Jonathan’s empty promises of doing so. To add salt to injury, Jonathan made a goof by negotiating with what seemed to be bogus Boko Haram to end up being duped and shamed. He made a mistake of announcing the deal even before knowing the authenticity and gravity of those he’s negotiating with. Failure to return the girls left Jonathan more humiliated and vulnerable than any causes for his loss.  This attests to the fact that conflict worries almost everybody and it has devastating results to politicians who tend to ignore it because it doesn’t affect them directly. Underscoring this, Buhari had this message for Boko Haram, “Boko Haram will soon know the strength of our collective will. We shall spare no effort until we defeat terrorism.”
One can say that Jonathan’s style of leadership was hands-off while Buhari’s is expected to be tough hands-on thanks to the style he displayed when he was president 1983-85 when he introduced many measures such as stopping the government from borrowing, increasing interest rates, reducing  the balance of payment deficit and many more. One analyst was quoted as saying that Nigerians need a tough fella who can instil discipline into the institutions. Buhari is remembered for his disciplinary behaviour whereby he used to punish soldiers who used to go to work late or ordering the whacking those who jumped lines on bus stands.
Jonathan predicaments were not only internal but also external. The fall of oil price in the international market also contributed to his defeat. The petrodollar his government used to rake in dwindled so as to affect government business that had already crippled by endemic corruption and Boko Haram attacks. Nigeria depends on oil cripplingly. It has nary diversified her economy to avoid depending on oil. Ironically, in spite of being an oil producing country, oil price is in Nigeria is higher than some countries that do not produce oil. For, Nigeria, oil is like a curse thanks to mega corruption whereby many barrels of oil are stolen daily. Nigeria is among most corrupt countries in Africa. Timipre slyva former Baylesa governor said that under Jonathan corruption became a culture of Nigeria.
Another weakness for Jonathan was the failure for Nigeria’s army to root out Boko Haram out till the coming of militaries from neighbouring countries that turned the waves against Boko Haram. Such successes unearthed the weakness of Nigeria government and army altogether. Looking at how Boko Haram used to make Nigeria its backyard, the coming of troops from Benin, Cameroon Chad and Niger to turn things around did demolish Jonathan politically portraying Nigerian army to be weak and ill equipped. For common Nigerians such gains were attributed to foreigners but not Nigerian army.
Buhari won’t repeat Jonathan’s mistakes. Being a soldier and a former rule –at least with something to show on his CV–will he he’s likely to become another Obasanjo.
Twitter is now full of messages of youth saying that if the Buhari government repeats the same mistake Jonathan’s committed it will go come next elections. Buhari seems to understand this well. For, he was quoted as saying“Mistakes will be made but we shall never take you for granted. Our errors shall be one of compassion and not to punish you.”
Knowing the lassitude and polarizing nature of campaigns, Buhari came with a conciliatory note saying,“You are all my people and I shall treat everyone as my own. I shall work for those who voted for me, those who voted against me and even for those who did not vote at all.” This means that politicking and bickering are now over. People need to go back to work so that the country can move forward. Again, thanks to long time corruption and pitiable social services, Nigerians seem to have put much expectation on Buhari. Will he change the corrupt system or being corrupted by the system he not new to?

Again, the just sacrilegious attack on Kenya by al-Shabaab should awaken politicians to underscore the danger insecurity poses not to the plebs but to their power.

Kwanini Kinana anaendelea kuhadaa umma?

       Katibu mkuu wa Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) Abdulrahaman Kinana ni kiongozi mwenye kutatanisha tokana na matamshi yake na mapenzi ya kupigwa picha kwa kila anachofanya hata kama ni cha kawaida. Siku hizi imekuwa kama fasheni kumuona Kinana kwenye picha akijionyesha kama kiongozi aliyeko karibu na wananchi na mwenye uchungu na hamasa ya kujenga taifa. Hata hivyo, wengi wanashangaa na kuuliza: Ni kwanini sasa kuelekea uchaguzi? Kadhalika Kinana si mtu wa kuishiwa vituko, mizengwe hata vitu ambavyo kidogo huwa vigumu kuviamini achilia mbali kuvielewa.

Hivi karibuni Kinana alikaririwa na vyombo vya habari akisema, “Wananchi wanakaa na hofu kwa muda wote wakati serikali haiwalipi haki zao wala kuwapelekea maendeleo na matokeo yake wanaishia kudhulumiwa.”Kinana alitoa kauli hiyo wakati akihutubia mkutano wa hadhara uliofanyika uwanja wa Shule ya Msingi Ngaramtoni Jimbo la Arumeru Magharibi mkoani Arusha.  Inashangaza sana kuona Kinana ambaye chama chake ndicho tawala akisema vitu hivi kwa wananchi badala ya kumwambia rais au watendaji wengine katika serikali yao. Anachofanya Kinana ni sawa na mtu kujisuta asijue anafanya hivyo. Mbona ana nafasi ya kuonana na rais kila mara? Je huku si kuwahadaa wananchi wamuone kama anawajali wakati anawachuuza na kuwageuza majuha? Kwani huyo aliyechelewesha fidia ya hao wananchi ni nani zaidi ya serikali ya CCM?

Kwa maneno rahisi, kauli ya Kinana licha ya kuonyesha kushindwa kwa serikali yake ni ushahidi wa kushindwa tena vibaya sana. Litakuwa jambo la ajabu kama wananchi watamwamini badala ya kumshuku hata kumhoji alikuwa wapi wakati serikali yake ikiwatosa. Kama analenga kuwahadaa wapigie kura chama chake wajue fika uchaguzi ukiisha nao wamekwisha hadi miaka mitano ijayo. Ni juu yao kuchagua kuingia mkenge au kukengeuka.

Kinana alifichua sura yake halisi alipoonyesha wazi kuunga mkono mauji ambayo yamekuwa yakitekelezwa na jeshi la polisi kutokana na maagizo ya serikali yake. Alisema, “Mkishaanza kupigwa wanawakimbia, hata ukiangalia katika orodha ya waliouawa au kuumizwa majina ya familia zao hayapo.” Hapa aliwalenga viongozi wa upinzani. Kumbe Kinana alitaka viongozi wadhurike au ndiyo walikuwa walengwa wakuu? Hii inakatisha tamaa na kuudhi sana. Badala ya Kinana kuongelea haki za binadamu, utawala wa sheria, matumizi ya sheria kwa usawa anakuwa kama mwenzake waziri mkuu Mizengo Pinda aliyetoa amri kwa polisi wapige na kuumiza watu na wakafanya hivyo hadi kuua. Kwa matamshi kama haya Kinana na wenzake wanaonyesha fika wanavyoshabikia, kuamuru na kuchochea vurugu na uvunjaji wa sheria na haki za binadamu. Wengi wanashangaa. Wanawezaje kuongea sana bila hata kufikiria wala kuona aibu?  Hivi Kinana hajui kuwa polisi kupiga watu wanaotekeleza haki yao ya kikatiba ni kuvunja sheria na katiba au anahitaji asomeshwe hili?Alichosema Kinana ni matusi ya nguoni kwa watu waliofiwa na ndugu zao kwenye mauaji yaliyotekelezwa na polisi tokana na maagizo ya serikali ya CCM kutaka kuuzima na kuutisha upinzani bila mafanikio.

Kuonyesha viongozi wa CCM walivyo janga kwa taifa, mwenyekiti wa CCM mkoa wa Arusha Onesmo Nangole ambaye wahanga wengi walitoka mkoani mwake akimpongeza Kinana badala ya kutetea haki za watu wake. Hata hivyo, atawateteaje wakati hawakuwa wana CCM? Nangole alisema, “Nakupongeza Katibu Mkuu, endelea kuibana serikali kwa sababu viongozi wamejisahau, kero ni nyingi zinahitaji ufumbuzi wa haraka. Vile vile ndani ya Chama kulikuwa na vurugu viongozi wa juu katika mikoa hawakuelewana ndiyo maana katika baadhi ya chaguzi tulianguka, lakini yote yamezikwa kutokana na ziara zako.” Nangole na Kinana ni wasanii wa kawaida. Kinana anaibana serikali gani wakati anatetea ukiukwaji wa haki za binadamu? Anaibanaje serikali wakati anaonyesha ubaguzi wa wazi utokanao na itikadi ya mtu? Kwake wapinzani hawana haki ya kufaidi haki za binadamu wala thamani. Kinana anaongea utadhani chama chake kinatawala nchi iliyofeli kama Somalia. Inasikitisha kuwa na viongozi kama hawa kwenye madaraka. Viongozi wabaguzi na wauaji tena wenye kupongezana kwenye jinai hii. Kuna haya ya wananchi kuwatolea uvivu viongozi wanaowachezea na kuwageuza majuha. Wanapaswa wasishikilie uanachama bali matatizo yanayowakumba bila kujali dini wala itikadi.

Viongozi wanaotumia ubaguzi wa kidini kutaka kuwavutia wananchi wanapaswa kuogopwa kama ukoma au magaidi. Wananachi wanapokumbwa na matatizo kama mfumko wa bei, ughali wa maisha, ukosefu wa usalama, tishio la mashambulizi ya kigaidi na umaskini wanaathirika kwa pamoja bila kujali itikadi. Hata matajiri wanapokuwa wakifaidi fedha zao wakisafiri kwa madege na kupeleka watoto wao nje kupata elimu nzuri ambayo CCM iliwanyima huwa hawajali itikadi bali uwezo wa kifedha. Hata watoto wao hucheza pamoja na kushirikiana bila kujali itikadi wala dini ya mtu. Ndiyo maana kwenye maeneo ya matajiri ya jiji la Dar es Salaam wanakoishi akina Kinana hakuna matawi ya wakereketwa wala vikundi vya vijana vinavyoomba omba msaada au kuhitaji kusaidiwa. Hawa si wenzao japa wanaweza kujifanya wenzao wakati huu wa kuelekea uchaguzi.

Wakati umefika wa kuwaonya akina Kinana wasichochee fujo kwani kuna maisha baada ya kuondoka madarakani. Hata kama wanataka kura, kwanini wasizitafute kwa kufuata kanuni na kusema ukweli. Heri ya kunyamaza kuliko kuchochea vurugu. Ni vizuri akina Kinana wakafahamu kuwa watanzania wa sasa siyo wale wa mwaka 47. Je kwanini Kinana anaendelea kuuhadaa umma?

Mlevi akataa kuwa "urahisi" ni mgumu

         Mwenzenu nina hasira kiasi cha kutamani kumyotoa mtu roho kama si kujinyotoa. Nimejaribu kupata kidogo lau hasira ziondoke bila mafanikio. Hivyo, nimeamua kutoa hasira zangu kwa kuwaasa walevi kuwa makini na baadhi ya rongorongo na matamko ya wajivuni na walevi wa ulaji wanaowafanya walevi hamnazo kama wao.
Hata kama tunalewa sana, bado tuna akili hata kama ni za kilevi. Hata hivyo, nani si mlevi katika kaya hii ambapo ulevi uwe wa mali, ngono, vitu, siasa, dini na hata bingi ni dili? Kujua tulivyo kaya ya walevi, hebu angalia tunavyowekeza kwenye baa, glosari na chap-chap Guest Houses badala ya shule kiasi cha majirani zetu kutuchuna kwa kupeleka vitegemezi vyetu kule baada ya akina dk Shchool Kawadog kudedisha ilm kayani.
Si juzi msanii mkuu akaja na mpya akisema eti urahisi ni mgumu wakati ni rahisi. Akiwa kwenye kaya ya Joji Kichaka alisema eti ulaji kwake ni kibarua kigumu. Tangu lini kupe akaona ugumu wa kumfyonza damu ng’ombe kama siyo umbea na kiherehere? Ni lini mpanda farasi akaona machungu ya farasi kama siyo umbea na unafiki wa kizamani? Kweli ukishangaa ya Mlevi utaona ya Njaa Kaya! Urahisi ungekuwa rahisi vilaza kama yule ungekaa muda wote huo?
Kweli, zama za mzee Nchonga urahisi ulikuwa mgumu kweli. Maana kuweka msingi wa kaya iliyokuwa imebanjuliwa na mkoloni wa Kitasha haikuwa kazi rahisi. Ilihitaji visheni, kujikana na uadilifu vya hali ya juu. Ila sasa –ambapo patakatifu pa patakatifu pamegeuka pango la mafisi, wezi na vinyangarika kuibia kaya –urahisi ni rahisi sana tu. Ni kula dezo. Ukiwa rahisi unahakikisha na kila kinachokuhusu kuanzia nkeo, vitegemezi, marafiki, waramba makalio hata mbwa wako nao wanakuwa marahisi kwa namna yake.
Ukiwa rahisi unahakikisha bi mkubwa anaunda kampuni yake ya ulaji na kuipa jina zuri la NGO yaani Nahomola kwa Ghamu nyinyi Ombolezeni. Vitegemezi na ndugu zako nao wanapata ulaji kwa staili kwa kutumia jina lako. Ukiwa rahisi kwa sasa unakula matunda ya mzee Nchonga bila hata kujali wala kushukuru.  Unaita washikaji zako mnakula kwa mikono na miguu tena bila kunawa. You just take a dip in gravy train. Mnakula kila kitu bila kujali kama kuna kesho. Unawabinafsisha walevi na mali zao. Wakifurukuta na kutaka kubadili katiba unaipiga chini ili kesho usinonihino kwenye debe kule Ukonga au Segerea. Wakitokea wabishi kutaka kukuzuia unawatumia akina Makondakonda wawakondeshe kwa vitisho.

Kwenye kaya ya walevi, mataahira na wasahaulifu hata bata anaweza kuwa rahisi akakalia kiti kitakatifu na kukinyea na asiwepo wa kumtolea uvivu na kumchinjilia mbali. Hata chizi anaweza kuwa rahisi na asifanywe kitu tokana na mfumo wa kijambazi kayani. Waulize akina Rugemalayer, Singasinga, Andy Chenga, Prof Saucepie Muongo, Anna Kajuamlo, RostaTamu la Aziz, na majambazi wengine kama urahisi ni mgumu. Wanamtumia rahisi wanafanya kila ujambazi mbuzi na hakuna anayewagusa.
Urahisi ungekuwa mgumu walevi wangeendelea kuwa watazamaji wakati kaya yao ikibakwa na kuchafuliwa na kila kinyamkera kinachotumia ukaribu wake na rahisi?  Kufuru za huyu mjivuni mkuu zilinikumbusha mwenzake asifikaye kwa kuwauza walevi kwa wachukuaji aka wawekaji wakati hawaweki kitu zaidi ya kuchuku akila kitu.  Hasira zinanipanda nikikumbuka marehemu NBC, Tanisco na Air Tanzia ambao waliouawa na huyu kidhabi na mjivuni. Huenda kuweza kuruhusu madudu kama haya ndiyo kulimfanya mjivuni mkuu kusema kuwa urahisi ni mgumu. Nadhani kama ni mwenye kujisuta, ugumu wa urahisi uko moyoni mwake ambapo akikumbuka madhambi aliyowatendea walevi anakosa usingizi. Huenda ugumu wake ni kupambana na magonjwa ya ajabu ajabu ambayo pamoja na kuzunguka kila mahali hayaponi. Heri Aliyejuu atulipie sisi walevi tulioshindwa kumtolea uvivu huyu kidhabi na wenzake wanaoendelea kutukoga kwa kulipana njuluku zetu.

Kiquette: True, presidency is a “tough” job

When some news breaks leaves your heart broken. The other day I was at our eatery at Uwanja wa Hyena devouring some visceral and trimmings expecting to go for kanywaji and ganja aka msokoto. I can see that fella laughing especially after reading my menu of offal. Do you think I’m alone in this business of insanity? Wait.
Sometimes you wonder about the world boozers live in.  We swiggers wonder if politicians live in this world we all live in. They say things that need the courage of the mad. I don’t mean they tell lies even if they do. This is why politics is called usanii or abracadabra. The other day Jake Kiquette bumfuzzled me alleging that Bongolalanland’s presidency is a tough, rough and sucking job. Really?! Yeah. Sucking others is not cool for them.
Jake knew how to choose his spot. For, he said that presidency –for him –was a tough job when he’s in the country of Joji Kichaka atWoodrow Wilson International Centre for Scholars. Interestingly an unscholarly doc speaks to scholars! He knew too well. If he said this in Bongo, he’d be booed and cooed. He said eti presidency –especially of Bongolalaland –is a hard job. Hey folks, giddyap. There’s nothing easy like ruling uncomplaining and unsuspecting Bongolalanders. First, they forget easily. Refer to scams that left them screwed up like escrow and other mega ones involving the high and the mighty. Remember how the draft constitution was slain merciless and stupidly? One boozer whom we call Snake Andrew used to call Bongo the land of the  insane,the  blind and the  forgetful.
Again, was Jake right or wrong to say that ulaji is a heck of a thing? Surely, eating for free with hands and legs without even washing them is not that easy. You’re always guilty so as to ensconce yourself amidst body guards and bouncers. Do you know why these folks are always overprotected? Now you know. Keep this info till Election Day and use it well to decide whom you’ll want to piggyback on your resources and tax come next season for appointing a chief eater.
Just imagine. Once you become head you make sure that your wife, friends and courtier, and you crisscross the world to enjoy as tax payers pick up the tab. You globetrot till some folks baptize you Vasco da Gama to signify that you can win the prize of globetrotting. Is this tough really?Indeed, eating with both hands and legs without washing them after taking a dip in a gravy train is a tough job especially competing with the richest first raider, sorry rider, sorry lady who used to be a pauper before you got to power.
If presidency were a tough job, goons and freaks like Joseph Desire Mobutu, Idd Amin, Sani Abacha and Jean-Bedel Bokassa and other crooks would not have stayed in power even for a single day. See, everybody can become president and eat free and unaccountably just like others who try to put a spin on this naked truth claiming that the job is tough while it is as easy as ABC.
Again, Jake is not the first eater to say that eating is a tough job. Ben Dugong aka Nkapa said the same after lapsing his brutal phase. An interesting thing about these folks is their detachment with time and reality thinking they know more than others. Methinks, only one person deserves to say that presidency is a tough job. This is none other than iconic mzee Mchonga who used his presidency to make other eat instead of eating them as it currently is. Mchonga’s presidency’s tough, holy and ever demanding especially, laying the foundation for whatever laughing hyenas are now wolfing. By then ikulu was the holy of the holy not now it’s become “a den of robbers” where hyenas, wolves and all bête noirs congregate to do their monkey business.
Under Mchonga, the president was a leader not a ruler. He’d to shape the vision of the nation. The president was the father of the hunk but not a thug of it as it currently is. Guess what. Under Mchonga corruption was a crime not a rewarding thing as it currently is whereby escrow thugs are in bed with the high and the mighty. Say not I’m making this up. If they’re not in the same bed, do you think they’d been free making more killings? Again, this is Bongolalaland of the blind, insanity, and stupid where the high priests of graft go scot-free.
Presidency becomes even easier for people without conscience and vision. Myopic and greedy as they’re, they use their intestines to think in lieu of brains. Can you expect any true and sensible thing from them while they actually use their bums to think in lieu of heads? Being a kind of boozers of Bongolalaland has nary been a demanding job. This position gives you the power of making all sorts of errors as you commit as many crimes as possible without being brought to books or being thrown behind bars.

After reading many irresponsible comments on the sinking of the boat carrying at about 700 migrants in the Mediterranean sea, I chipped in by provoking even many writing:-
I fully support this exodus. When Europeans invaded Africa and colonized it didn't know that Africans will one day pay back coming the same way, without passports and visas. The difference however is that Africans are not going there to colonize Europe but seek employments. They are not going there to rob or exploit as Europeans did in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Again, if western countries are not going to stop exploiting Africa by supporting their stooges in power, they must get prepared to be exiled to Americas and Australia for fear of African Arabs and Indians invading them to pay them back for their colonialism and perpetual exploitation. This is historical tit for tat that Europe should accommodate the same her colonial agents were accommodated in Africa and other places she colonized.
