Image result for photos of sudanese demonstrators being shot atWhen former Sudanese dictator Omar Bashir ordered the killing of demonstrators, he blamed it on 'infiltrators'. As the day went buy and everything started to go off kilter, still Bashir maintained the same old song, infiltrators without mentioning their names or telling what he knew about his infiltrators. indeed, the killers of demonstrators were infiltrators sent by Bashir. They were military men, police and other state operative who maintained Bashir's regime.
After the toppling of Bashir, after the people's power overcame him, his remnants who disposed him thinking they would take over and keep receiving orders from him are repeating the same mistakes and the same song of infiltrators. Like their boss Bashir, they are accusing infiltrators to have killed demonstrators in the night of 14 May after forcing their way into the military headquarters where demonstrated have stood their ground for over a month seeking to form a civilian transitional government which is completely unacceptable to the military. We all know the military doesn't want a civilian transitional government. This is because it can open the lid of their mess and connect dots so as to find the top brass in the same situation their boss Bashir is in now.
Again, for how long will Sudanese army keep on repeating the same mistakes hoping to assuage the situation?
Like Bashir, the army is right when it is claiming the infiltrators have shot at and killed demonstrators. Like Bashir, they should expect what befell their hero and boss. Sudan belongs to Sudanese but not the army or Bashir's remnants.
